Not sure what could be better it was everything myself and wife needed also the friends that travelled with us were raving about the hotel all the way back to Glasgow.

We loved the relaxed feeling around the hotel the facilities were amazing food was great and the staff attended to our every need we had an amazing time that's why we have been back a few time keep up the great work ty.

The hotel was cold ! . Whilst having dinner in the bar we had to change location twice to avoid a draught . Several people complained about the temperature and the hotel did it’s best to place mobile heaters around the area to heat it up . However it did remain quiet cold .

Restaurant was closed, all rooms are located in the attached addition, not the beautiful historic building you see here.

Not enough staff in the bar and restaurant which was the cause of long wait at times. The advertised Hogmanay gala ball was a disappointing night we were sat in the conservatory which was cold. No band just a disco No party poppers etc then the advertised stovies after midnight did not appear.

Nice hotel food was good. Staff helpful and friendly. Good sized room and comfy bed.

Plenty of choice at breakfast and items kept being replenished. Husband loved that there was haggis for breakfast and mother in law loved the danish pastries. Mother in law was really impressed with the size of the accessible room.

Bar service was slow. There was not enough staff on for the numbers in the hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfy. The hotel and our room were very clean. The dinner we had at the function was delicious. This is our second stay at this hotel, and we would not hesitate to stay again.

The towels and soap were replaced every day, not good for the environment. The hotel little worn down.

We family of 5 people, 2 adults and 3 kids aged 4 yrs, 5yrs, and 6yrs. Charged for premium and gave normal room. (They charged for the bed and gave me a cot) I asked for the connecting room and initially, they did not give it and said I should have requested it when I booked, which I did but then decided to give. They gave me a connecting room and put a small baby cot for my 4-year-old son, which was of no use. Worst experience in my life. Due to Christmas on 25-dec everything was closed, I had 3 big bottles of water, but it finished, so in the evening there was no water to drink, when I asked the staff can I get some water to drink they said we don't keep water. Such a big hotel and they don't keep water? I wanted water for my kids 4yrs, 5yrs, and 6 years kids. I was happy to pay if they wanted, but no water, so what did the staff drink when they were thirsty? and if they don't have any feelings for such a small kids once can understand.

People walking through pool area in outdoor footwear; sofa bed was not made up for us on arrival and was still not made up after making request; staff seemed to be unaware that restaurant was not open.

Comfortable room; tasty breakfast; nice pool and leisure facilities; pleasant grounds with some walks nearby; good location for visiting Dundee.

The breakfast on the first morning left a lot to be desired cold and egg that would have done for a frisbee.

Very dated, the rooms need to be repaired in some areas. Our door has had the lock ripped off but not repaired. Very hot also, no fan or aircon. Our room was 27 degrees at one point
