I want to show my highest respect to the host's strong sense of responsibility. My daughter left her hair curler in the room and she didn't realize that she left it in Swan house. It was Swan House who sent me a message asking for my address. They sent the hair curler back to my home very quickly even without asking for extra charge. I am really blessed to chose Swan house to stay one night.

Friendly staff, room was beyond expectation and the extra little touches just added to a very relaxing stay. Surprise entertainment on the night was an added bonus. Definitely would visit again.

We had a lovely stay. The breakfast was delicious and we were most welcomed. The location is in a quiet place but close to some of the attractions near by. Plus, when our car broke down, John went the extra mile and made sure we are OK and helped us. We really appreciate the kindness you showed us. Thank you!

Nothing to complain about!

This is a really nice little place beside the A19, close to several main points I needed to visit for a work trip. From the 4* and 9.4 rating, I was surprised to find this is actually a caravan park with chalets (I stayed in one of the chalets). It has to be hands-down the nicest caravan park I have stayed at - but I wouldn't want anyone who was expecting a posh country gastropub or 4* hotel to get the wrong impression and be disappointed. Clearly many, many happy customers like me leaving great reviews because it is a really nice and friendly place.

Tv didn't work - missed strictly dancing and had to tell everyone on my course the next day not to discuss it. Lol - a little 'drat' moment but the room was so beautiful it gave me chance to read and get an early night before travelling onto my course early the next day.

Spacious room, clean, room with really comfy beds. Powerful shower, little fridge and tea/coffee facility - loved the chocolates and biscuits! Stunning views of 'Herriot Yorkshire', quiet considering how close to the A19. Lovely little extras included, welcoming hosts. Facility to eat on site in the club house, but I hadn't known about this prior to booking. A lovely little find, I'd definitely book for a mini break when visiting the Dale's next time instead of for work related accommodation.

The only thing I would change is the weather.

First class acomodation, excellent room & facilities, with good breakfast. Good secure parking, & in good location for days out to visit places. Would give this a 10 / 10 & 5 star recomendation.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Arrived a bit tired and disheveled as we hadn’t realised we could get a lift from Ingleby Arncliffe to this property and we stood, rather distressed, for a while looking at the A19 ( which is not a road for pedestrians) before a very kind man from the service station gave us a lift. The staff at Swan House were fantastic. They explained that they had been trying to contact me when they realised we were walking as they do offer a lift. They then checked that we had something to eat and offered breakfast the next day ( as we had also failed to book this). They really were good to us and the stay was really comfortable and relaxing.

Everything, all staff and owners excellent friendly welcoming, the accomodation was equipped with every extra possible, the breakfast is a must will keep tou going all day. Relax in the bar with realistic prices and local banter.

Secure via electronic gates, nice rooms, very clean. It was very quiet even though the site was busy. Hosts were fantastic, very helpful and very welcoming. Breakfast was amazing.

The highlight of the room was the view of the fields. Also it was about 5 steps from the bar, ran by John, very friendly and lively place. Beer cheap, staff helpful, cracking music and unbelievable value. Would definitely recommend can’t wait to stay again! John even helped me with a lift to my next destination. Cheers!!

The only issue we had was with parking as someone blocked us in & had I been travelling by myself I wouldn't have been able to get the car out of the tight space, but that was the only negative & I'm sure it was a rare occurence.

Everything was great, the room had a lot more facilities than we were expecting with bath robes & make up remover towels as well as fruit tea, a fridge & microwave in the room. A large fan was also included which was very much appreciated as it was a very hot weekend when we stayed. The guest house is just off the A19 so very convienent to get to other places but it was really quiet despite being next to the busy dual carriageway. Breakfast was lovely & the staff were really friendly & helpful & Christine upgraded our booking to a larger room when I spoke to her before our visit which was very much appreciated. When we arrived she asked if we'd eaten & gave us a pizza menu that delivered to the b&b so that was again very helpful & very much appreciated as we hadn't thought about our eating plans at all for that evening. We would definitely stay here again & we fully recommend it. The views around were gorgeous too!

Clean room and fittings, with everything made available for our comfort and to make an enjoyable break. Owners and Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast provided and reasonable prices in the bar room.
