Cosy, but modern, excellent service, very clean. A choice of cereals, milk, yoghurt, bread, jam, butter and Welsh cakes for breakfast, plus drinks. Definitely worth a stay.

The property is a lovely, cosy apartment in the perfect location for a quiet weekend. We went for some beautiful walks around the Beacons so this property was perfect for that. Exceptionally clean and the kitchen had all of the essentials and more. Breakfast, snacks and delicious fresh bread. It has been such a warm and welcoming night away for us. David the host was very helpful and welcoming. Will definitely return if we’re back in the area.

Great location in Talgarth and only a 15 minute easy drive to Brecon. The room was a in a self contained building which was good for privacy, very clean and comfortable. Nice big bed with memory foam mattress so great for a good night's sleep. Free WiFi and packing. Only a few minute walk to the main shops in Talgarth and I'd recommend the bridge end pub which is just at the end of the street. Definitely recommend and would without a doubt use again. Owners were very friendly and helpful. They provide a continental style breakfast in the kitchen and is stocked to everyday.

At such short notice we were pleased to find this lovely room to stay in after our long trip from Coventry to Cornwall to north wales. We decided to stay over in South Wales for a well earned rest. We arrived late which wasn’t a problem with the owner, he was very welcoming and had excellent communication with us when we got a little lost. The room it’s self was very clean, well presented and was just what we needed to re energise us to continue our journey to north wales and then back to Coventry. Breakfast and facilities were such a lovely touch to the stay which we were both very pleased with. My partner is 32 weeks pregnant and we couldn’t have asked for a more better place to stay, the bed & pillows were very comfortable. We were glad to find there was WiFi as our signal had not been great for the journey we were able to catch up and communicate with loved our ones back home and let them know we were stopping for the evening. We both said we would return for a break away for a few days to be able to explore the town and enjoy the room more, which we will look into in the new year. Everything was to a very high & clean standard. Breakfast provided couldn't have been any better. Cannot say anything bad. Thankyou for a great stay with outstanding facilities and a very welcoming owner who couldn’t do enough for us! It made our journey a lot less stressful.

Lovely stay in a beautiful little town and very Christmasy, garden/terrace decorations were stunning. Owners were very accommodating and friendly. Room was very clean and bed nice and comfortable. Lots of different food to choose from for breakfast. Location amazing and owners went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely stay. Would definitely stay again!

The owner David and his wife were exceptionally helpful and provided us with valuable local information and also transported us to and from our venue which was very much appreciated. The continental breakfast was very good, excellent gluten free selection too.

The couple were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble to do. The supplies and choices for the continental breakfast were very good, and a little personal touch was added with wine (although we not really drinkers) and a bar of chocolate. The most important part was it being self-contained and clean as we are a vulnerable couple currently.

I’m struggling to suggest any improvements…..perhaps a microwave, but not really required.

Hosts could not have done more to make us feel welcome and ensure a successful short break. Room was ideal for a two person stay. Ample food supply for breakfast…hard to find fault.

Your own personal space. In a separate building. We were given a massive selection for breakfast. It was spotless clean and David and Sharon were so lovely. Even refreshed our towels on the second day and made up the room. Would definitely recommend. Plus would say ahi if we came back this way. 🙂🙂🙂

There is nothing that comes to mind to make it better. We were extremely pleased with the whole accommodation.

The accommodation was very good. The location was excellent for us. Continental breakfast range was great, good choice and lots of it. Wifi was brilliant. Room was spotless with great amenities.

The blinds let all the light in so pack an eye mask if light sensitive. Being close to a road you can hear the odd car but nothing I couldn’t sleep to. I will be going back again!

Pictures are accurate of the accommodation. We stayed 4 days and there are plenty of local walks from the doorstep and others a short distance in the car. Walking distance to coop, butchers, bakery, fish and chips and Indian food (recommend the Indian). Well located on good roads if you don’t like single track. Host was friendly and enjoyed the selection of local food they offered. You make your own breakfast which worked for us perfectly. A real treat to have a dressing gown in a room!

Room is more like a mini apartment, it had everything we needed (including sky TV and bathrobes which was nice :)). We also arrived to a full fridge for breakfast food and tea / coffee / fruit. Great value and host were really friendly too.

For the advertised river/mountain view you would have to crane out of the kitchen window!

Due to Covid restrictions a large and varied amount of food for breakfast was left in the apartment (with microwave etc if required). This sufficed for an evening picnic meal as well since all local restaurants were either closed or fully booked. Very friendly/informative (if non-Covid-aware) host. Comfortable bed (although space to one side was tight).
