It's a London town house so quite noisy when anyone moved around - particularly the people in the room above who were even later than us and arrived at about midnight.

Our check in kept moving as we had problems but the staff remained helpful and welcoming. They were definitely exceptional in helping us the next day as well.

The sheer panels at the window were good, however a proper pair of curtains would have helped keep the early daylight out.

Location was brilliant, the staff were lovely. We didn’t have breakfast as we had made other plans.

The toilet was very low to the ground and difficult for anyone with mobility problems. No snack menu offered -only breakfast (which was brilliant) but would be good to have a basic room service menu with snacks and drinks. Also, there was no mini fridge in the room.

The staff were great - friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable. The breakfast was superb. Can’t fault the location.

Wish housekeeping would have been a bit more attentive in filling up tea bag , toiletries supply. We had to ask for more tea bags. Quality of toiletries were excellent .

Although the staff were friendly, the checkout person insisted that we had breakfast when we hadn't. Room is on the small side. Generally clean but some areas are looking a little tired.

Room temperature was set at 26deg - far too warm for us, and the controls didn't work to turn it down. Resorted to switching the a/c off and leaving the windows open to cool the room down.

Only 10 minute walk from South Kensington tube station. Room was clean and well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast, although not included in the booking, was excellent.

bedroom was not cleaned on last night of our stay. beds were not dressed and towels not replaced or coffee and tea in room was not refilled . we were late back at hotel so no one available to assist. this made it very difficult uncomfortable to pack the last morning.

location prime for ease of travel. having a room with a bath tub is big bonus for me. bed very comfortable. superb breakfast and limited bar facility made it very pleasant.

I was expecting it to look more like a Georgian house inside. Room was nice but very small. Very small bathroom. a couple of things needed repairing in the room. Breakfast was expensive. We only had granola and yoghurt and a coffee and a fruit plate, 1 piece of toast and orange juice and it was £35. Complimentary coffee in the reception area would have been nice.

The lift was absolutely tiny so only really possible to get one person in at a time unless two of you were very friendly. Whilst the facilities in the main were good, the bathroom suffered from a very small and cramped bath and a leaking basin. A shame as the room was good but small otherwise.

The location of the hotel was ideal for us and the staff were super friendly and helpful. A very clean, smart hotel which fitted a lot into its tiny footprint.

room number 23 was just a little tight and as it wasn’t on the same level as the elevator and we are older, we had either go up five stairs, half a floor or down five stairs half a floor, so that was not ideal for our situation

They’ve done a wonderful job converting a London townhouse, however, because it’s a townhouse, the rooms are minuscule (much like you would find in Hong Kong) and very snug but the location cannot be beat - two blocks from the Kings Road, two blocks from the South Kensington underground, there is a lovely little breakfast from eating rum on the lower ground floor, and the entry is warm and cozy and welcoming and the staff are amazing
