We booked for a 2 night stay. The room we stayed in had everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable and we had great nights sleep. The ensuite shower was amazing with a choice of rainfall shower head or detachable shower and plenty of hot water. Complimentary toiletries provided. The room had a welcome tray with coffee/tea and biscuits. The room was quiet although the hotel was busy. Breakfast was included and had a good selection - yoghurt, cereals, toast etc., to help yourself to and the chef came to take your order for a full English breakfast and cooked it freshly for you. We had one evening meal in the bar of the hotel, which was delicious, and there were plenty of choices. There was a car park attached and we had no problem finding a parking place. The hotel is well situated, just off the A55. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything! It was the best stay that I've had in a while. We got to check in early. The room was very clean. The breakfast was the best! Came out hot. I will be staying here again.

The coffee at breakfast was instant. Would have preferred filter coffee and expected it. All the yoghurt was flavoured but would have liked natural to put honey in. Would have liked apple juice to be available as well as orange. Really nitpicking here though!

Beautiful location with lovely views. Amazing breakfast. Lovely room. Friendly atmosphere in the bar. Delicious milkshake served there. Extremely friendly staff.

The car park is a bit tight but we did manage to park.

The breakfast was excellent. The staff in the hotel were all very helpful and made us welcome. The breakfast room is up stairs and is a large and open room with plenty of tables.

At breakfast in the morning the dining area smelled of cooking. There were no windows open to allow the smell out. We could still smell the cooking smell on our clothes at lunchtime.

Bed was comfy and the rainfall shower was just what my wife wanted

The car parking was a little bit cramped but apart from that there is nothing negative we have to say.

The breakfast was memorable for its comprehensive selection. The room it was served up in was airy and very comfortable. We thoroughly liked every aspect of our overnight stay.

Room spot on, comfy bed, quiet. Lovely breakfast, Sunday lunch was great. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location. Would definitely return and recommend Tafarn y Rhos for a stay on Anglesey.

Location is lovely. We had a meal booked for 11 of us and owner arranged seasting in the breakfast room. We pre ordered and everything was smashing. Staff were very obliging. Well done to the young lad who ran up and down stairs for us all

As I was spending a lot of time after work in my room I would have like a comfortable chair to sit on to watch television.

Breakfast was lovely and cooked perfectly. Main meals were huge and delicious - you certainly won't go hungry staying here.

Small shower, but this is a very minor issue.

Great central location for getting anywhere on the island. 15-20 min drive to anywhere. Excellent pub food and the best hot breakfast on our trip.

I really enjoyed my stay. One feedback point - The mattress was a bit uncomfortable and the pillows were flat/old. The sheets were scratchy. Could be a bit more comfortable with just finer thread count sheets and some new pillows, and maybe a pillow-top mattress cover.

I loved the restaurant and pub with live music on site. Parking was steps from my room and the pub. This is very helpful for those with mobility limitations.
