Property fine for 1 night. Golf clubhouse staff very friendly and good food at a reasonable price Sadly when we arrived and asked a guy about check in the was just rude. Thankfully the clubhouse staff were excellent!

Room was comfortable. Needs a mirror in the main room to do makeup and hair etc. You will need to find somewhere to eat locally as the bar closes early. We found a nice pub just 10 minutes away.

Very close to the airport and was really handy being able to leave our car there and getting taken and picked up ready for your flight is a bonus.

Expected a more secure parking location. I selected the venue as secure parking was advertised. I anticipated an area with a locked gate area or fence. There is a secluded area but not advertised clearly for guests to use and not gated. The venue is regularly attended for golf and I didn't want to leave my car exposed whilst away for several days. Didn't attempt to try food due to timing or main venue so unable to comment.

Room was easy to locate at the venue and access instructions were clear enough. On site car charger was a plus. Good decent shower. Coffee maker and some refreshments provided. Shower gel and soap in the bathroom. Good strong heaters with remote control. Location is very close to Bristol airport. While transport is provided at a cost but is convenient and reliable.

Instructions to get in the room once we arrived was clear. But we were also helped by a lovely lady who showed us where our room was, and how to get in, and how to order food from takeaway nearby as we arrived after the club house was closed.

Had to change our pick up to the airport. Phoned the man & said politely that I understand me changing the time to a bit earlier could be a problem and if he couldn’t do it that is ok we understand but to cancel the time we had set. Got rude, disrespectful words and tones back. Telling me I don’t need to go earlier to eat or for security and that he said set time I had asked for was fine and he will be there and that it was stupid not to take it! I then explained that I acknowledged the time change was my fault and I was simply cancelling because that’s respectful & if he couldnt pick us up 2 hours earlier we would understand. He said no and he will not cancel the time set?! This was a lengthy conversation where he was stressed then said he had plans then saying the company says when and that we have stressed him out and he thought it was stupid. We had to get up and walk in the cold 3am following google maps to the airport. On the road which most didn’t have a walk path. Was absolutely awful. Also for the price. The check in is late. Check in is when dinner finishes. Makes no sense. Not worth the money there are cheaper places around. The accommodation messaged and did apologise and offered to give a discount if we were flying again. Which we were. I then gave the dates because I thought everywhere deserves a second chance and heard nothing back to be able to put it down as a one time thing. Would love them to have given an offer to be able to have a good experience. So will stick with the place we had stayed at before with no problems which was forge accommodation

The fact that whenever anybody passed the door the security light flooded through the door . No curtain on door. When next door went to his car every ten minutes to smoke and use his phone his headlights once again lit up the room

The menu was a bit limited but that's partly my fault as I don't eat meatr I found something that I liked so it was ok.

We booked this so we were close to Bristol airport for an early flight the next day. The staff were excellent at staying in touch as they knew we wanted to have supper and they advised us of the kitchen opening times. We were suprised to have only cardboard cups in the room and no glasses or mugs. I was provided with both on request - apparently people steal them!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms (the lodge) are situated next to a golf course, with beautiful scenery and a pleasant path to walk through. It’s also just a five minute taxi drive to the airport- and the taxi driver was spot on for time. Excellent 😊
