We really enjoyed the stay, the location was perfect for a quiet retreat and a few days of walking. The pod is well equipped and had a homely feel. We had a warm welcome and if we had any issues we were able to contact but never needed to.

Incredible location - the views just from the pod and hot tub are beautiful, and the pod in a good location for trips to both mountains and the sea! The pod is cosy, clean and well equipped for cooking and relaxing.

Lovely, peaceful and relaxing, a total switch off venue, no media influences whatsoever, the owners were very respectful of our stay, was around but not intrusive, we felt very comfortable, would definitely like to return.

This is a wonderful little pod to stay in if you want to unwind, relax and get take in some gorgeous Welsh countryside. Menna is a lovely host, emailing ahead of time with the correct location pin, and was helpful in answering my questions. The pod itself was lovely, very cosy and had just the right amount of stuff you need there to have a good few days stay. The hot tub was ready for us when we arrived. The location is just amazing, very quiet and private which was exactly what we were after. We were in the area to visit the Mach Loop where military planes do low level flying training, which was a first for the host!

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

What my wife and I liked the most was the no signal, this gave us an eye opener of how much we was using our phones. This gave us some really quality time together and a behaviour change on putting our phones away and enjoying every minute we can. Perfect get away. The Pod itself was perfect and very well maintained. Lovely owners. Will definitely be coming again.

Nothing whatsoever with my stay, finding was a little tricky in beginning but that's to be expected staying in rural setting with limited signal. The information provided by hosts was amazing tho.

Absolutely loved everything. So impressed by cleanliness I am a cleaner myself for air bnb and I could find a single speck of dirt anywhere. I loved how good quality all furniture was and impressed with yhe amound of facilities provided I'm the pid. Loved all the little touches and finshes. Thabkyou for a lovely memorable stay. Great friendly hosts also.

Sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable, no proper bed sheets for it that we could see. No signal (unless you’re on EE) and no wifi but nice to switch off for a couple days.

Beautiful location, host was really lovely and helped us with the hot tub, very clean, private and a lovely place to relax and unwind for a couple days! The cons are below but did not effect the overall experience as it’s a really lovely place to stay!

needs a bit of TLC on ceiling, curtains had a bit of black on them, a bit of mould in bathroom because of no extraction, there was no bin bag in Bathroom, also needs a bin in bedroom. no phone signal at all (good and bad thing)

Amazing stay! The pod was very cosy with everything you may need for a short stay. Our car made it up the hill to park right outside. Hot tub was preheated by the host to our surprise. She was very responsive, answered my emails straight away during our stay. If you’re looking for a fabulous location to unwind look no further. I’d suggest hiking Dol Idris nearby, stunning views!

NO SIGNAL! This is stated in the description but I’ve noticed in some reviews that people were still surprised so maybe they’ll take notice of this review :)

Where do I begin! The pod was beautiful and spotless and Menna was an absolute diamond. I was later arriving than I had originally planned so Menna got the hot tub fire started so it was hot when I arrived. She also let me borrow her phone to message my mum to let her know I had arrived. Due to adverse weather conditions (snow!) the next morning, the house pipes had frozen so Menna ran a gallon bottle of water down to the pod without me asking, however, the pod pipes hadn’t frozen and were working perfectly. The next day there was more snow so Menna came to the pod in the morning (during heavy snow fall) to apologise (not her fault of course) and made sure I had enough food in as the roads weren’t exactly drive-able unless you had a 4x4 due to the ice and snow. This had me concerned for my departure the next day but I was reassured that there wasn’t anyone in the pod the next day so I could wait until about midday to see if the ice would melt a bit with the sun. Menna also reassured me that her and her partner had a 4x4 so if I had any difficulties they would be there to help me. Once again, I cannot recommend this place enough, the host was amazing and the scenery is beautiful. Even during all the snow and ice, the pod was so warm thanks to the heater. I even had to turn it down at one point! I was also provided with an extra blanket on arrival and everything from the gas to the electric worked perfectly. I’ve attached some photos from my walks. I’m sure there’s some bits that I’ve missed, but like I’ve said a few times, I cannot recommend this place and the host enough 10/10 <3

We really enjoyed our stay from start to finish! The pod was lovely and clean. When we arrived the electric fire was on and it was very welcoming and warm. Menna came to welcome us on arrival and make sure everything was ok and explained how to use the hottub which was very easy. We had some car troubles and the hosts came straight down to help us. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone.

A beautiful location surrounded by nothing but nature. No technology no screens. The perfect recharge weekend away. Would deffinatly recommend and return here in the spring time. Surrounded by thousands of stars and the sound of nothing but nature. Total bliss.
