The breakfast offerred was Continental and not a cooked breakfast, although saying that, it meant we got out early to start the day.

The location was peaceful yet close enough to the main street to access everything. The tea/coffee tray was very much appreciated. The room was very comfortable and perfect for our needs.

One minor problem in that the bedside lamp outlet was switched off and we had difficulty accessing it, but our host was able to assist us and we had no other issues with it.

We loved the cleanliness of the property and the location being quiet and just a short walk into town. The off street parking was extremely convenient as well. The amenities were plentiful including a kettle, tea and water. Nice touches and would recommend to anyone visiting Oban.

The location of the accommodation is ideal for exploring Oban on foot. I would also like to highlight the elderly gentleman who lives there and was very helpful and kind during my stay

Not being met by anyone who worked in the hotel at all the full 2 days I was there. One day I got back and someone saw me come in the front door and didn’t acknowledge me at all even just to say hello!

Maintenance was poor. Two out of two lamps did not work. The bed was so broken down that we had to sleep on the edge framework to get any support. We paid good money, break down and replace the mattress.

The location was good for access to the ferry.

The only thing was the shower was hard to get to stay on a consistent heat.

Very nice location, so close to town. The owner was very friendly, and gave us some great tips of what to see around Oban. The room was nice and big, and having opening windows was really nice. The bathroom was really nice and big too. A very comfortable stay.

I think for the price I would have liked to have breakfast included, even a continental. But overall I am happy with my stay.

The room was big, comfortable and clean. The location was excellent and the staff were friednly. There was tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room along with some buiscuits, which was a nice touch.

Coudnt get in when we arrived at a bit later than the time stated. Tried to explain to the owner but i thought she took it a bit personell. Spoke to her husband and explained what happened but he reckoned i was aggresive to his wife which was nonsense .only because she was driving to perth at the time. Maybe should be in oban.I only said there should be someone there.to welcome you in Stood for over 30 mins before we tried the b andb next door which they also own. Sometimes you just need to hold yer hands up and say sorry. And dont blame the cleaner who has a job to do. The cleaner forgot to put the key out. But the way they reacted it it was everone elses fault😩

In need of upgrading & decorating, frontage looked shabby compared to neighbouring guest houses. However as already mentioned, room & bathroom were clean.
