The separate bathroom was a bit of a pain but we knew about it when we booked so not really a big deal! The room was really hot when we arrived, we managed to turn it off though so all fine.

The location was excellent and the size of the room and facilities were great. Very good instructions for parking and access to the room.

Excellently located in the centre of Alnwick, Tate House has everything needed for a comfortable stopover. The private parking being across the road behind the Plough. It's quiet at night, modern and smart and it's cleaned to a sparkle.

Only slight thing I would comment on was The bed had seen better days, it was terribly squeaky and unsturdy but everything else was fantastic and we would recommend.

Bit overwarm, we turned the heating down and opened the window, but weather has been changeable and it was down to peoples' taste. Only thing that bothered my husband is not being able to stick his feet over the bottom of the bed, as it had wooden bed end, made him more uncomfortable than me.

Clean and warm, many little snacks and choice of teas. If we wanted, there was a living room we could use downstairs, with books to borrow or DVDs to watch. Ensuite bathroom, tap easy to use, hot water straight away, plenty of towels.

No cutlery or crockery in an otherwise well appointed kitchen. Very long messages re: checking in, paying etc - could be cut down & give the same info. More photos on booking.com would be helpful, showing you which room's which.

Just the over all cost. It'd quite price for a 2 night stay, it space its gorgeous and love the little snug with balcony but I think given the price and it not being breakfast/ fresh coffee i think its priced highly. Tv didn't work just had to keep it on the radio.not that i needed it but it would be nice to have it on while i was getting ready

Location is perfect, right as you get to alnwick. and 10 mins from the treehouse/ castle walking. Large clean room, really comfy bed. Didnt see any staff as I was out most the time but they were always available by message

Only niggle was the steps down to bathroom in middle of the night, after having a couple of wines! Ohhh & no wine glasses provided but there was a wine bucket! But we always take our own! So no problem for us. The Snug is delightful.

Beautiful room.fantastic location. Spotlessly clean with tea and coffee hot chocolate and biscuits daily. Would definitely recommend tate house. Also a lovely lounge to chill out in.perfect stay.

Great location in the centre of town. Rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Room 3 is fabulous with its own snug and sunny balcony. Would definitely recommend.
