The only observation I could make is the fact that there is no staff on the premises during the night. In the future, if possible, I would probably invest into one member of staff being there overnight, to ensure safety and security.

The staff was very friendly, and the location is not bad. It only takes 10-15 minutes by bus to reach the city centre. However, I highly recommend downloading the Dundee City Taxis app if you are in a rush and not really used to the surroundings. The area is very calm and the place overall was nice.

The room was advertised as having a sea view and though you could see the water, there were two big cranes in the way (see photo). The shower didn't drain properly and breakfast (though very good) didn't start until 9am. We were a little way out of town, about 35 minutes walk in.

The bed was very comfortable and the evening restaurant was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was clean.

A bit noisy when the cleaning of an ajoining room, in the evening. Would have been good to have been informed that was the case for the intrustive noise. But this did not happen for lomg, and the staff made resectful apologies.

Excellent value for money. Food V.G. Location good. This was a find. If you love good quality Indian quine this is the place for you. Parking space if a car traveller. I was travelling bus, good service.

We didn't check there was no lift (!) but only up one flight.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Free car park.Very basic rooms but comfortable. Tea and coffee etc. Proper small fridge - not minibar! Obviously very popular restaurant and sports bar. Indian and European food. Reasonably priced bottles of wine.

It's a bit dated but what do you expect for the price ..if you can get past that and want somewhere cheap and cheerfull it's perfect.no atmosphere ie music at breakfast .outside could do with a freshen up but again the price reflects this

This was our 2nd time .the room was clean and had everything we needed.we hadn't tried the Indian the last time that is downstairs and had heard great reports so ŵe made sure to book in and I can honestly say it was one of the nicest Indian meals we have had ever .the lamb bhuna was unreal ..the smell were fab..we will def be back.they are also doing. Breakfast now which was lovely.

The hotel is looking tired which is fine (value for money) but they need to give it a good scrub and take the rubbish away that greets you when you pull up in your car. Their is rubbish lying against the back of the hotel and in car park against the shed. An old hotel does not have to be a shabby hotel.

Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Bed was comfortable and ensuite facilities adequate - good hot shower. Considering the overnight rate, it was value for money. The restaurant food was excellent and the chef went out of his way to cater to what I might like. I had a little issue with a bright light and the staff rectified it for me. I was most grateful.
