Stayed here a few times previously and always looked forward to the breakfast, disappointed this time though, seemed as though the quality and choice of the food has gone downhill a bit which is a shame….bacon really greasy, sausages low quality, scrambled eggs dry

Good breakfast choices but unfortunately food and coffee were not hot. Food not covered so lost heat. Reception- to have heard 'welcome to the hotel' or 'did you enjoy your stay' would have been nice.

Green ceiling light kept the room a little light when trying to sleep. Was very annoying but that was the only criticism.

Personal preference. Didn't like the bed was just not comfortable for me. Abit too firm. Also not a fan of feathered pillows. Also the drain in the shower took a long time to go down. Standing in a good 2-3 inches of water while in the shower.

The fact that the flight landed in the region in the morning, the room was not available until the afternoon and we were really tired having had to get up really early for the flight but to let us in the room with an early check in was not possible. Also, that the stay in a room at the location is not for 24hrs, and to extend is £30 per hour.

Everything was fantastic, from the staff, the cleanliness, to the gym- which was a fantastic asset to the hotel, the breakfast and the location is accessible to everything. I loved the fact that there was a bath with the shower because after hiking and a long flight, the bath was the greatest part of that room.

Had to ask for shower gel etc on check in because nothing in the room. Some noisy neighbours arriving back into the corridor 1.30am and then more at 5am. Service in the restaurant was slow and we had to wait for our chips. waiter apologised but restaurant was really quiet, Walking past the hotel from the outside you can see into the kitchens which does look untidy. better to have mirrored glass. Prices quite high for weekend compared to during the week.

Nice clean decent size bedroom. Comfortable bed, fridge in the room. Hotel restaurant and reception clean and tidy. Staff very friendly.

Gym lacks some essential equipments such as a pull up bar. But it does the job if you’re creative
