There was a problem with the toilet which really needs to be addressed, it would be good to have a light over the bed for reading and also could do with some hooks on the doors for towels and jackets.

Room was a good size and was convenient to have the kitchenette. Location is very good.

Brilliant location, check in & out really simple. Only fault was it smelt musky in the corridors could maybe do with some airfreshners, wasn't pleasant to walk in to.. rooms were fine for a night's stay. I probably would stay again

When we arrived the toilet seat hadn't been cleaned, (urine on the seat),the shower door wasn't on properly nor had it been cleaned. The sink also hadn't been cleaned. The TV was cracked across the screen although didn't affect the picture quality. Carpets and walls were dirty. When I noticed the shower door was broken I reported it to staff and he fixed it promptly. Although we didn't use it due to the fact it wasn't clean. The lighting was far too bright in the rooms, especially in the bathroom. Some lamps or small wall light for during the night would be better.

The room was filthy, it wasn't cleaned properly, it had visible dirt everywhere. I had to buy my own cleaning stuff to wipe down the surfaces and to bleach the toilet. The walls are paper thing and other guests kept us up at night shouting, slamming doors, etc.

Accommodation is definitely not a 4* and we were supposed to be in deluxe room. We did have microwave and fridge which both could have done with a good clean and also all mirrors were smeared you could hardly see in them but bed was clean and comfy. On 1st night there was disturbance in houses across road at 1.30 am lots of people coming and going but after 1st night we never heard anything again.

Good location for all amenities and everyone was so nice and helpful. Lots of eating places and pubs round about. Good train service to get to different places.

We booked a superior double as did our friends who we were meeting. They got that room but your rep tried to palm us of with a walk to another hotel or accept a twin bedroom which we did for convenience. So we had no fridge or no microwave which i believe we had paid for when booking.

Our first night was good, the bed was uncomfortable, the shower was not as clean as it should have been, dried up blood on the bathroom floor. The second night we got disturbed by a group of rowdy ladies who played music full blast from the moment they got there to which we just got ready and went straight out as we couldn’t listen to it any longer, I’m also pregnant so I couldn’t go out drinking which meant it was a nice relaxing weekend for us, we got woken up at 11:50pm, the ladies were shouting so loud preseumably because they were drunk, we were on the top floor so they were shouting they couldn’t get their friend up the stairs because they’d had too much to drink. Me and my partner were awake because of this until 1.45 in the morning, I sent a message over to the manager to explain our frustration and we heard nothing back off him (even the next day we didn’t get a phone call or a text back)…we then get woken up by the fire alarm at 4:10. The nearest fire exit to us was locked, so even if there was a fire we would have struggled to get out. But we never got told of how to open the doors etc, obviously being in a state of panic, my partner went down to check and luckily there was no fire, nothing come up on the panel board so we went back to bed, to then get awoken early in the morning by the same party of guests. The third night, obviously we were absolutely exhausted from the second night, we went straight to sleep, again to only get awoken at around 4am to the fire alarm going off again. Again the doors didn’t release so we wouldn’t have been able to get out but my partner went to check again on the fire panel and nothing came up, we were on the top floor of the hotel so we were panicking even more the second time round, we didn’t manage to get back to sleep that night at all, due to us being on high alert mode and in a state of panic as we just didn’t know what was going on.

The location was absolutely great I could not fault that. 2 minute walk from lord street, arcades/pub at the end of the road. The room was over all a 8 out of ten. The stay overall was probably a 5-6 out of ten
