only small negative comment the showers should be thermostatic controlled as it very difficult to control one minute really hot next cold .

Noise insulation between the rooms was not great, however it wasn't a great problem

Room just needs a little TLC. Entrance door frame was dirty, bathroom door sticks, and some marks on the walls and carpet

Excellent location for the watercress line. Very quiet and plentiful free, close parking. Beds were very comfortable and linen clean. Excellent to get a bath sheet AND a hand towel each. Room had a lot of space Excellent value for the money we paid

The walls of the room were thin so the conversations or TV from one's neighbour could be disturbing. Although there was plenty of choice for breakfast, with a buffet the fried eggs are never a success because they become hard so quickly.

My room was in the lodge, just across the carpark, so I could park outside my room. The twin bedded room was comfortable with plenty of space for a single traveller! The friendly staff were helpful and the dinner was freshly cooked. There was a buffet breakfast with fresh coffee.

food was average room was a nice size but noisy due to pipes in the wall, when the upstairs ran a bath/shower the pipes made an awful noise plus creaky floorboards above. this is close to a main road being in the countryside you would have thought it would be very quiet, am glad I locked the window (kept the noise out) .. this place is suitable for builders tradesmen and couples its very close to a main road..

The hotel needs renovation and they have to improve the breakfast.

Roadside hotel that´s not bad to spend a night. Very basic and outdated. In the restaurant very slow and the breakfast was pretty bad.

I thought the room was whilst comfortable would benefit from more furnishings.

The breakfast was great and the meal I had the night before was well worth the price I paid. The location was ideal for my journey.

Oh dear.......well the outside of the accommodation has not been cleaned and looks run down . The house keeping is very poor......our bath plug which wasn't even attached was filthy . The window was filthy and the general appearance was dirty.. Paths not swept , spiders webs full of dead insects , it just goes on . The food was best described as average.......... No kerb appeal at all !! .

The bar staff was OK, lots of car parking and apparently the towls were nice

Room very comfortable, had a problem with the single mattress you could feel the springs and was given a topper which was very comfortable, breakfast was good plenty off choice, evening meals very good and good prices very friendly staff made to feel very welcome, would definitely stay again 😊 and plenty of parking.

Our lodge room was very basic and very expensive. The bathroom looked OK but could have done with some detailed cleaning. I couldn't have a shower as there was no grab handle on the bath or the wall. We didn't enjoy our evening meal, although we did overhear others praising the pizza and the fish and chips.

The staff were absolutely brilliant, friendly and helpful. There was plenty of parking. There was a reasonable choice at breakfast.

I asked for a gluten free breakfast for my wife and they said they could do one but when we got there they didn't understand what gluten free was suggesting she could have rice crispys which have gluten in them. In the end my wife used her own cereal and bread but they did do her some bacon which was cooked away from any gluten containing food.

I got a puncture in my tyre and they were very helpful finding a tyre repair company to come out.
