Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Breakfast was very good. The bar and dining area comfortable. Cleaning staff were very understanding when I had a nosebleed while asleep and messed up the pillow and duvet cover.

IrelandI found my room cold, and I don’t know why, the weather was very cold outside, Wetherspoons itself was a haven of warmth, the corridors were warm, but my room was chilly…it had a heater and it seemed to be working, but nothing seemed to make much difference…and it wasn’t drafts as windows looked new…tbh we were out so often only into sleep and shower that it didn’t matter, and I should have gone to reception and enquired but I didn’t so my fault….i also found my bed a touch hard, but that’s down to personal preference really….
The location in Whitby is absolutely spot on, the hotel is situated right in the centre of town…..the car park opposite is easily managed with online app….it was perfect for me as I am not very mobile and being on the flat was a real bonus, I would not have liked to tackle one of Whitby’s daunting hills ever time you went to your hotel. I found the hotel very clean, room was cleaned everyday….staff were very friendly and helpful…being attached to Weatherspoons via internal lift was also very handy for the odd drink and tea and coffee were free at the bar for residents…The food was grand, very reasonable and a good menu…..and as for Whitby, you could never be bored, so much to do, and the nearby Yorkshire Moors are just stunning….

United KingdomHeight of the ceiling was very low, I feel this should be mentioned on the main booking section. Floor boards very noisy and could hear every stomp from people above, maybe some signs to say about consideration for people below. The main door to the room didn't fit the door frame so let in the light from the corridor that was left on all night so had to put a t-shirt at the bottom of the door to block the light out. Sign's should be placed on doors regarding the closing of doors as people find it really hard to close doors quietly. Bang bang bang at all hours is not needed.
First time staying here and the location was fantastic, stayed in room 315 great view out of the window. The wall to wall size of the room was excellent. Good sized bathroom. Bed was massive and very comfortable.
