We loved that we were welcomed with the warmest smile. The cottage was very cozy, clean and felt like home away from home because it had everything we could have needed for our short stay. Our host Mel, was gracious enough to leave us goodies like muffins, butter, milk, jam and cookies. We particularly loved how fresh the air was and watching the little birds that came to feed near the window.

So much thoughtful detail put into this home to make it a comfortable and relaxing stay. Very spacious yet cozy! Super dog friendly, with good walks around! Our host was so friendly and helpful, and they have a really cute 4 legged friend.

Beautifully decorated with a very well equipped kitchen, it was exactly as described - probably better! Lots of lovely touches for when we arrived (we stayed over Valentines Day) and a great supply of essentials, a really thoughtful and appreciated gesture.

Mel our host was so welcoming and accommodating. The cottage was so cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. The attention to detail here is wonderful. From the toiletries in the bathroom to the essentials in the kitchen. They really do go the extra mile for their guests. We stayed in one of the coldest weekends in December and normally the heating goes off during the day but Mel was more than happy to keep it on for us throughout the day and we didn't even have to ask her. We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.

Absolutely everything. The Annexe is so clean and welcoming. Even has a dishwasher. Owners are absolute gems. Jam etc was supplied for breakfast, little chocolates on the table. Treats, a toy, bowls, basket and blankets supplied for our dog. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have booked again for next year Highly recommended!

Everything!!! Mel is for friendly and care about everything you can need. The annexe it's beautiful done, clean, comfortable and have everything you can need and more. A courtesy bits for breakfast make the difference. 100% recommended

It was all better than we could imagine!

We had a lovely stay at the Annexe, everything was amazingly organised and we were made to feel very welcome. The property was cosy, clean and smelt amazing! There was plenty of information about the surrounding area and Mel had some lovely recommendations. Mel’s communication was exceptional and she was one of the loveliest hosts we have had the pleasure of staying with. She showed us around when we got there and gave us some recommendations for the following day. Nothing was too much trouble! The breakfast bits were an especially lovely touch to our weekend! Molly (our black Labrador) very much enjoyed her stay as well with lovely walks nearby, a basket for her and she was allowed access to the whole property. It was a very dog friendly stay where it didn’t feel stressful at any point! Overall an amazing stay, we will be back to explore more of the surrounding area! Thank you Mel, Guy and Bert!

There is nothing we didn't like.

Self contained annex with small secluded garden. Annex made up of downstairs modern bathroom, lounge/ dining room and extremely well kitted out kitchen. Upstairs has a large comfortable lounge with tv and separate large double bedroom. Everywhere very clean and local information guides and leaflets for the area available. Lovely extra touch of 'essentials' - milk, muffins, butter, local jam and biscuits provided. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again in the future.

Fantastic cottage in a good location with garden and great facilities. The welcome from Mel was warm and friendly and the welcome pack provided by Mel delicious 😋. A lovely place to unwind after a long drive from Cornwall.

Very well equipped, a lot of thought has gone into making sure everything you need is there. It felt homely with personal touches of beautiful furniture, comfy bed, kitchen with everything you needed. Lots of files with local information. Even a welcome parcel of bread , delicious jam , biscuits , butter , milk, tea, coffee . In a perfect position as well and nice and quiet and of course the gorgeous Berty !! We will be back ! Absolutely nothing!!!!

Of all the cottages we have stayed in it is the 1 we would definitely recommend to others and stay again ourselves. We were greeted warmly by our wonderful host on arrival.
