Claire and Neil are perfect hosts; very good food and nothing was too much trouble. Neil even gave us a lift in his car to a local attraction. Top people well done 😁

Nothing, the bar and breakfast room were well presented and there was a tv if guests wished to have tv or music during their meals. Even outside there were lots of seats and tables for guests to use.

The property was well presented and absolutely spotless in shared and room areas. It had all the amenities I required and even had a personal refrigerator in our room. The welcome and care to guests by the hosts was exceptional and the breakfast choice matched any 5 star property we have stayed at previously.

Fantastic family run hotel. They were so helpful and welcoming. Had a great evening meal and breakfast there. Lovely clean and comfortable bedroom with really good facilities, clearly recently decorated. Secure place for storing our bikes as we came to the end of cycle route 8. Would definately recommend staying here

Tiny improvements would be welcome - in our room 5, we would have liked a bedside light on both sides of the bed and a soap dish in the shower.

The place was spotlessly clean and the owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Bedding and towels were new and our bed and pillows comfortable. Plenty of toiletries on offer in our room with tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge. Fantastic shower. A great place to explore the area or use for a visit to Mertha. Plenty of parking and absolutely fantastic food. Menu was extensive, reasonably priced and portions huge. Breakfast was amazing. Although the pub part was quite busy with friendly locals at times, by the mid/late evening all was quiet. We will definitely stay again.

Very welcoming and very friendly. Accommodation bright comfortable and clean. Hoteliers could not do enough for me patrons in bar friendly and fun. My stay was uplifting would recommend.

Nothing, based on the previous reviews and the price I was not disappointed. Great place for an overnighted on the way to the Brecons.

I was provided with a code to get in so my later arrival was not an issue. The room was basic and clean. A comfortable bed and a quiet night of sleep. Great water pressure in the shower. I opted for my normal toast for breakfast and they were good thick slices. The owners were friendly and helpful. Easy parking at the rear.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts are lovely people and the rooms are spacious, clean and very well equipped. The breakfast is tasty and you can choose from different options. I would definitely stay here again.

Really friendly and helpful owners and the room was clean, comfortable and had some bonus features like mini fridge and decent tea and coffee making. Breakfast was ace...great options and plenty of it. Just wish I'd remembered they do food evening meals too although there's no shortage of places to eat near by which I was well informed of. I went exploring every evening and there's lots of short interesting walks. Thanks for a Fab stay!

Honestly for what it is, its perfect. Its not fancy- more of an Inn/Motel type place- but it is clean with comfy bed and modern bathroom. Great place to crash before or after checking out the park.

Location is great, about 15 minutes from Brecon Beacons National Park, about 30 from the waterfall trail heads. Claire and I believe her husband are very nice and have an Inn with modern rooms, a little bar and breakfast nook downstairs.

Lack of storage, knew about this from my previous stays, so adapted by leaving some stuff in my holdall and some in the car boot.

Room was clean and bright, breakfast choice was excellent. Owners very cheerful and attentive. Good outside patio area with plenty of covered and open air seating. The owners do food in the evening, and there is an excellent Indian, and a chip shop within 2 minutes walking. Good access via car to Asda and Lidl 5 minutes away.

Nit picking now! Lack of storage, could do with maybe a couple of corner shelves.

Plenty of parking, outside patio area with ample seating to chill after walking in the Brecons (covered and uncovered) Attentive owners, excellent choice at breakfast. Clean bright rooms.
