Room was a bit small but I'm being picky. It was fine for my stay.

Room was warm, bed comfortable and plenty of hot water.

The waiter in the breakfast room was a little off hand

I thought what was on offer was poor. A cooked breakfast as an option would have better

Unfortunately as the Inn had no chef (for quite some time) dinner and a cooked breakfast was not available to guests with limited options for evening meal in the surrounding area. Better options may be available in the summer months.

Room was clean and comfortable and staff were welcoming

The staff at check-in in the bar did get us our key, but little else. The wi-fi was non-existent. The waterfront view room looked through a parked car 12 inches from the window. The restaurant is not functioning in April, but the bar is, and next to the 'arch' next was our street level room. Maybe avoid rooms 1 and 2 if that bothers you. The continental breakfast was adequate. Some louder citizens in and out of the building at night. The bar had very recently been painted-some painter's tape still up, and wall lamps lighted only a long wall of painting hangers.

This is a well positioned place with possible views of the Ullapool surroundings. Beautiful sunsets from the jetty at end of street. The fixtures, lighting, paint was new and the room was spotless. The parking is convenient in front of the building on the street. Breakfast staff was wonderful and cheerful and good croissants. The evening bartender allowed us to eat our take-out in the bar with drinks purchased there.

No food available at the time unfortunately, but the staff were able to recommend local eateries and allow us to eat takeaways at the bar if wanted.

The breakfast wasn’t the greatest, could do with more options, at least some scrambled eggs or something warm.

The room was very clean and the location of the inn is perfect just opposite the sea side. Being Friday night there was some live music - the staff said it will stop before midnight, it did indeed so we could have a proper rest.

    The overpowering cleaning fluid

I’d like to have given this a great review Trouble is everything would have been perfect had the room not reeked with overpowering disinfectant zoflora! The sheets the pillows all the woodwork seemed to have been sprayed or wiped with it I couldn’t sleep on the pillows and despite a windy gale all night had to leave windows open. Otherwise great facilities Good shower Kettle and biccies Good breakfast

We have been staying at the Arch Inn once or twice a year for 12 plus years. This year the Arch Inn is only offering a continental breakfast rather than the usual cooked breakfast. We ate breakfast twice - both breakfasts were pretty basic. The bread that was used for the toast was obviously the cheapest available which was disappointing. An evening meal was not available due to the Inn not doing food. We ate a good meal locally at a nearby hotel, but it does raise the question whether it is actually worth staying at the Arch Inn when food is not available - it would be easier and potentially better value to stay elsewhere.

Breakfast was basic - Sunday service was slow and we ate surrounded by uncleared tables

Sadly, due to the inability to find chefs / cooks for the kitchen, there was no food available at the property, and breakfast was also hence very limited continental style. Can't imagine why people would not want to work in this stunning part of the company - I may retrain as a cook! My room also backed onto where the boiler chimney was, so when it was on (turned off over night) it was rather noisy with the window open.

The setting of the hotel is superb. The actual room was small but excellently presented - I think very recently renovated, so it looked brand new. Parking available outside the hotel (reserved for guests). The bar had a nice traditional pub atmosphere. Room was very warm for me, even in early March with the window open and radiator off.
