The property was ideally located to the town centre , parking available on side road next to the property . Booking in was easy with all relevant details to hand . the B & B was clean and our room was to the back of the property and quiet . The staff were attentive and had good knowledge of the local area .

The decor was a little aged but clean.

The female staff member on the breakfast shift was great, very chatty and helpful and the breakfast was amazing.

With the window open there was some noise from staff in yard. Shower cubicle was rather small.

Communication and instructions from Darren were excellent. We liked being able to enter the property and access our room independently. The room was very comfortable and cosy. It was particularly nice to have a fridge. Breakfast was excellent in very pleasant room. Cafetiere coffee we made ourselves was a bonus. Coffee in hotels is frequently poor. Parking at the back of the terrace was helpful. Excellent location for Alnwick Castle and Garden which are superb. Lidl was very close by.

The stairs (3 flights) were a little challenging for my elderly sister. Probably should’ve asked for accommodation on a lower floor. Wasn’t aware it was 3 stories high!

Ensuiye slightly smaller than I expected. No problem for us but a larger person would be a tight fit in the showers.

Facilities, food and staff interaction. Proximity to town centre.. free parking close by. Excellent breakfast.

The mattress on the bed was a bit soft and I was able to feel the spring when turning over. But this is my view and I'm used to a very firm mattress at home. Still had a good sleep though.

My first visit to Northumberland. Instructions on arrival were very good. The room was good for my needs and very clean. Breakfast had a wide selection of foods. It was good to start the day with a friendly smile and full tummy. Gave me a good base to explore the area. No problems with parking at the house,always found a space on return.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable There was a box on the ceiling with a green light on it so in the night you expect it to be dark but this green light just shone the room up so that was annoying as I didn’t have much sleep

It’s an old converted house so bathroom was a sink and shower block in the bedroom. Wouldn’t use for a long stay but was fine for a night.

Lots of the channels on the television didn’t work, as the signal was distorted.

Breakfast was excellent. Very wide choice of cereals and breakfast cooked to order so very fresh and hot. Small fridge in the room was very useful. Very welcoming, warm and friendly. Lovely area outside to sit in the evening.
