Check in time of 4pm is fairly late and the check out time of 10am in the morning is also early, so makes it difficult to make use of the facilities

everything!! its was to celebrate a birthday and its one we will not forget . Location was fantastic, the lodges were well spaced out and private when using the hot tubs. It was like having you own little piece of tranquillity.

Hot tub was very chemically (I understand this is so it is clean) however this was very intense. No mobile phone service at all, there was WiFi on site however WiFi did not work in the lodge which meant I was unable to stay in contact with my partner (& baby) whilst at the cabin. Very limited tea, coffee and milk available in the lodge.

Our lodge was very clean & well equipped. Plenty of towels, cups plates, glasses for the two of us. Very quiet and secluded. Staff were very friendly, good amount of parking. Perfect for one night away with friends.

The lodges are set in beautiful countryside, with everything you need, ours had full kitchen facilities and a hot tub, so much room compared to a hotel. There is a nice pub and the breakfast was superb!

We originally thought the room was going to have a microwave as seen in the picture and in description on booking.com, we'd planned food around this and had to change it last minute.

The lodge was really sweet and perfect for a 2 night stay. The restaurant and breakfast was lovely.

Only thing I could pick fault with, is that you cannot leave your car outside your lodge. I’m not sure why as there are little gravel driveways that go off to ur lodge so you would think you can have your car parked there, but either way it’s not too bad as the carpark is only a 1-2 minute walk from the lodge.

Very nice place to stay, the deluxe lodges are really nice with your own personal hot tub to relax in. Nice and quiet area too, no noise so aren’t disturbed by anything.

We were unsure when we first went in as we were greeted by a gentleman that quite cold towards us we felt the young man and lady there were very friendly and full of smiles but we did feel we had to try hard with the gentleman though he did come round a bit later we weren’t sure whether it was nerves but we have noticed someone else has put similar comments. Maybe he needs a little bit of encouragement to chat to the customers a bit more but besides that we lived it and would go back especially if we could have a lodge with a hot tub they looked great

We stayed in a studio lodge with hot tub, room was lovely, spacious and well designed. We also ate at the Baiting House Restaurant food was beautiful and staff were brilliant.

Couple of small maintenance issues in the bathroom - nothing at all that affected our stay but bits needed attention. I felt the lounge could be cosier, a plug in wood burner (I appreciate you can’t have a real fire) or blankets would make it even better, but that’s me being picky.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Ryeland lodge. All staff we spoke to were great. Lovely hot tub at the front of the property. Very clean lodge and tub. No veranda but we love sitting in the tub in the rain so it was absolutely perfect for us. Nicely furnished interior and lovely kitchen area. Comfortable bed. Loved that extra hot tub towels were provided.

We loved our stay and will be going back but to make it a fair review there were just some areas of our lodge that needed a little improvement such as a little bit on the cleanliness, and a few DIY projects etc. But it didn't impact us but wanted to be fair for other potential customers.

Lovely place, lovely staff, nice little lodge with good amenities, hot tub wad perfect! Incredible breakfast! Really recommend staying here. Coffee machine was a bonus. If you get chance to eat dinner at The Baiting House we definitely recommend it was fantastic food, best we've had and the service was flawless.

Having to park some distance from the accommodation - particularly as the weather was very windy with heavy rain. Also my partner has COPD ad struggled walking uphill going to and from meals.

Comfortable warm accommodation. Good shower, plenty of hot water. Food exceptionally good, service friendly and very good.
