    No negatives.

Our hosts, Chris and Claire, were extremely welcoming and wonderfully accommodating. The room was exactly what we needed. Very clean, comfortable and with all the facilities we could ask for. Access to the room and the property in general was simple enough (but still secure). It was also easy to access the accommodation via our chosen means of transport (in our case, exclusively via trains and walking). But had we needed to, access via car, taxi or bus would have been feasible. Chris also very kindly dropped us back at the station after check-out, a much appreciated gesture. Excellent value for money and in such a wonderful location. Out of the city, but exactly what we wanted for a more relaxed stay away from home. We certainly intend to return at next soonest opportunity, hopefully with friends/family in tow as well.

Wonderful view, spotless and very modern room. Lovely hosts and a delicious Scottish breakfast in a gorgeous dining area. Very cute, very small town but convenient restaurants and groceries if you don’t mind a short walk. Quick walk to train station & quick train ride to Edinburgh.

Nothing to add here. Parking is quite limited I suspect in peak season.

Lovely large room, generous proportions. Excellent view out over the Firth towards Edinburgh. 10mins walk to rail station (30 mins to downtown), frequent services. Excellent hosts, we felt so welcome. There are some local pub/restaurant options a walk away for a drink or dinner. Quiet residential neighbourhood with a lovely forest walk out back to view Forth Bridge. Close to the action, far enough from noise for an exceptional night's sleep. A1.

Everything was beyond our expectations: affordable price, easy to reach location (both from Edinburgh city centre and the airport), marvellous views, delicious Scottish breakfast; to say nothing of the friendly and hospitable atmosphere created by the hotel owners. Strongly recommend to stay at this place.

There's nothing to dislike!! Just one thing that there was no drinking water provided in the room (being Indian, we are not habitual of drinking tap water from the washroom).

The view from the room is just mesmerising. Hosts are amazing, they make you feel so comfortable. Worth every penny spent and would definitely like to visit back Bay and Bridge!

The fridge in the room was quite noisy, turning on and off every half hour during the night. Not fun if you are a light sleeper like me, but I brought my ear plugs so it wasn't a problem.

We were on a weekend break from our busy lives in Edinburgh. This B&B absolutely exceeded our expectations. Location was perfect, quietly located on a hilltop with stunning views over the Firth of Forth. Easy to find with the sat nav and we had a lovely friendly welcome from Chris, the owner. We did not order breakfast as we like a good lie in, so had brought croissants to have with a cuppa when we got up. Really enjoyed sitting in the chairs and looking at the gorgeous views. The interior of the suite was very high spec, tea and coffee in abundance and fresh milk provided. Chris was a wealth of knowledge with regards to the local area, and had many recommendations of what to see and where to eat. We had dinner one night at Louies and the following night at The Compass. Both were lovely and served good food, however Louies was probably a higher standard. We stayed for drink there too on the first night and it was an easy 10-15 min walk back to the B&B. On our second night we walked down to the tavern in Hillend village, which was a really quaint and very local pub. Absolutely worth a visit, everyone was friendly and welcoming, even the pub dog! We managed to visit lots of towns in the local area, including Aberdour, Burntisland, Kirkcaldy, Dunfermline and Rosyth. Everything seemed to be just a 10 min. drive away! All in all we really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B and would definitely recommend it to others. You won't regret it!
