Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe downstairs rooms could have smelt a little fresher. I'm guessing a dog had been there previously. Also needed more than 1 cereal bowl for all 5 of us to have breakfast together, along with some child-friendly cups. And some coffee!
Great location for where we needed to be. Near to shops and restaurants, on a new estate. Lovely spacious rooms, comfy beds and nice cosy bedding. Some breakfast cereals were left for us to enjoy.

United KingdomThere was nothing specific that we didn't like but a couple of points to note. 1- The description states that there is a 'well stocked' Kitchen - We found that for actually cooking a meal this was not true. There was little to no cutlery except for plastic cutlery which was not really a nice experience and i would suggest metal cutlery would be a huge improvement for the facility. There was no oven trays or dishes. and there were no clothes for wiping down the surfaces or tables. 2 - On both the double beds there was no sheet. The beds were very comfortable and the Duvets had covers but only when we went to bed (too late to do anything about it) did we find that there wasn't a bottom sheet. 3 - The house could do with a welcome pack including information about electricity and heating plans if we were leaving the property. Both mornings the owners messaged with instruction but this was not received until after we had left the property and therefore could not be followed. If this was available upon entering the property all of this would have been carried out. It should be noted that this is just feedback which could help improve an already super accomadation.
The house was very comfortable and exactly what we needed for the weekend. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and check in and out was simple and straight forward. We would definitely use this property again if we needed it. The owners had left lovely biscuits and cereals for us to have which my children enjoyed. They were lovely touches.
