the guys have only had it 4 weeks have done great so far but i wouldnt say was clean anuff needs a deep clean new stuff in place bedding etc was clean but room over all wasnt paid alot of money to stay and wasnt the best only reason a stayed was because my train tickets where non refundable

No heating, no hot water. The plug sockets kept tripping. The long black hairs on the floor in the bathroom. Sink was disconnecting from the wall. Towels were very damp on the bed and left damp patches. Kettle didn't work. Wardrobe had the doors ripped off. Had 1 filthy chair in the room along with curtains that were too small for the windows and weren't even on a curtain rail. Changed manager and didn't bother to inform guests. Complained when I tried to call to check in.

The shower head was green with limescale, the door to the room didn’t shut nor lock properly therefore we had to wedge the door with the chair. The room was dirty with old bottles of beer in random draws, and dust. The shower had only two temperatures either freezing or scolding hot, it also didn’t follow the settings.

The staff were lovely the lady was very accommodating and even allowed us a late check in.

At arrival no one about, had to chap for a while to eventually someone came. Person wasn't prepared to receive us felt like they didn't know what rooms and person wasn't even presentable ( no shoes on). Then to find out our room was at the hotel next door(golden strand) room wasn't clean rubbish still in the bins cans of beer behind the bed and can under bed. Mattress almost feels like camping to feel base of bed. Stairs full of dust and with fethers. No one asked how everything was. Hoover left at stairs mind hotel with children this is trip hazard. We were a family of 4 and could hardly move in a family room mind. So made me think if was giving wrong room like I mentioned felt like the person didn't know what rooms were for us. Won't be back to this hotel for sure.

I didn’t like that the room looked dirty, there was bits all over the floor like it hadn’t been hoovered. I went to have a shower but changed my mind because the shower base was full of hair, there was empty shampoo packets behind the pipes in the shower, the shower curtain was black and dirty. We were told the bar could be open until whenever, we had one drink and looked into the bar, it was closed with the lights off. we went to bed disappointed. the shower was also leaking out the back of the hose all inside the shower itself which is dangerous because it’s electric. overall it’s disappointing at how dirty it was.

I liked the location of the property and that there was a car park just around the corner. the staff were friendly enough also. there was a bar for drinks and a kids play area.

The family room on top floor so meant dragging 3 young kids up and down 2 flights off stairs and the bedroom window had no child safety latch on and was easily accessible for my eldest to try climb up to from the bunk beds
