Room 3 where some of our guest stayed commented that the room was great but the noise of constant foot steps from teh above room was quite irritating and kept them awake as the occupants were up through the night.

Breakfast was fab. Staff very welcoming.

It was lovely to have the choice of a shower or bath, unfortunately the hot water ran out during my husband’s shower, who went after me. Be aware of narrow stairs and low ceilings in places.

Breakfast was very good, great choice and well cooked. Location was in a lovely village, although within range of hourly chimes from the church, which didn’t wake us up through the night but we did hear it in the early morning. The room was spacious with modern facilities and was spotless.

Ringing of church bells opposite during the night.

Rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. Service from all staff was exemplary and we were warmly welcomed. Very good breakfast and overall it is great value for money.

It took a long time to check in. I was given room in the building outside..on the ground floor. There was a couple staying above me. The building is old and the floors are extremly squeeky..to the point i caleed the reception requesting the room to be changed.. unfortunetally they were fully booked. The couple was getting up in the night few times and woke me up. If i ever stayed there again..i would request a different room. Apart from that the room itself was lovely.

I like the atmosphere.. small pub with a building behind where they have additional rooms. This is where i was staying. Very clean and nice staff. Food in the restaurant very nice. Very good breakfast.

The room had not been vacuumed and the carpet was full of fluff and bits. Shame really as we both enjoyed our stay and for what we paid seems churlish to mention it

    Nothing it was all great

A beautiful little village pub. The room was very comfortable and had all that I needed. Breakfast was very tasty and made to order with plenty of choice. I did try to have evening meal here but the chef had gone off ill unexpectedley, so the staff booked me into a local pub for food which was also good. Staff were really friendly and very helpful

Location. Got lost few times with sat nav but was all worth it

Just perfect, I was a lil bit hesitant about the quality when I firstly arrived. The corridors appeared a bit old until I opened my room door. Just magical, the bathroom is the icing on the cake , A shower and bath, unfortunately I couldn't take my breakfast as I had to leave early. But would highly recommend 👌

Bedside lamps in bedroom weren’t working despite having new looking bulbs in them. Neither did towel radiator work Asked barman about bedside lamps but nothing appeared to be done, he was probably a bit busy I guess.

Room was super clean and pub was cute and warm. Bar staff were brill and super helpful, and because the kitchen was closed they allowed us to order in and eat on site. Thank you.

The Bell is in an idyllic setting but with very easy access to central Birmingham. The staff were very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. I will happily base myself there for future working trips to Birmingham.

A bit unclear as to what is included in breakfast rate. Shower pipework very loose and shower tray leaking badly in to the bathroom.

Lovely village location. Nicely decorated. Pub with reasonably priced meals. Apart from breakfast we did not eat here though.

Nothing. Loved every bit of our stay.

We booked a last minute treat. Just to have a night away to ourselves. Absolutely loved the Bell. Charming and quiet village location. Church bells ringing outside. The pub is lovely and very welcoming. Locals all love the place. Very clean. The staff are lovely. The food was exceptional. All freshly prepared and very tasty. The room we stayed in was big and well fitted in a modern cottage feel. Bathroom excellent. Bed was sooo comfy. Dog friendly too so next time we'll take the dog. Breakfast really was one of the best we'd ever had. Super tasty.

    Absolutely nothing

The staff were absolutely amazing. So welcoming on arrival and so friendly. We crossed with several members of staff and they all made an effort to engage. The room was decorated lovely and was spotless with a good shower, clean towels comfy beds and a high standard of cleanliness. The setting was great. The pub was lovely and the 3 course meal and breakfast we had was fantastic (well done to the chef who also came out of the kitchen and had a friendly chat.
