Bathroom was freezing and had I been any bigger, sitting in the toilet would have been a problem. But no real bad issues

The Bell is a very pleasant Inn but does not open until 17:00 each day. We were led to believe that we could check in at 15:00 but it was closed at this time. No breakfast facilities are available.

We booked the Bell to stay overnight before visiting the nearby RAF Museum at Cosford. The room was comfortable and convenient for the Indian restaurant which is part of the Inn.

Unfortunately, it is now a Indian restaurant, not a pub,so it was not quite the quiet,cosy weekend we looking forward to.

Window wouldn't close, seems a short cut for traffic. Wasn't bad on the sat & sun but the Monday 6.30am onwards when we wanted a lay was noisy.

Beds were comfortable, they left you alone, hardly saw anyone. Which was OK. I love the smell of the curries on walking through to the room, thankfully you couldn't smell it in the rooms which is good cos my lad doesn't like the smell.

A few areas needed a bit more cleaning in the room and there was no breakfast at the property which was a shame.

None of the rooms were clean enough, particularly the shower rooms.

The staff were friendly and available on arrival. Then we were allowed to change one of the rooms because the first one presented was dirty and smelly. Having said that, the sheets were clean. The car park was excellent - spacious and secure as the gate was closed overnight.

Hotel not open on arrival after 3.00pm so used emergency staff no on door. Room not ready. no automatic light in dark entrance hall. Owner/Manager new to Booking and I believe to the Bell as Restaurant with rooms, so would expect these problems will be sorted out shortly. location ideal, but room 102 found church bells nearer than realised on booking! 101 ideal for me with hearing aids!

Beds comfortable and 2nd duvet supplied as asked. Evening meal good and well served

The shower wasn't clean and the carpets are now very old and worn. Too much air freshener but maybe that was needed.

The room was clean and tidy, a little small but comfortable. Bed was good. Restaurant at night was excellent, very nice food.

It wasn’t cleaned properly I found a lot of hair in the bathroom and the place wasn’t painted properly, the water was running slow in the bathroom, I had to clean the bathroom because there was hair in the sink. It was super cold too the heating was off a lot so it was cold when I came out the shower. The carpet can stains on it, it wasn’t that good but the staff was really sweet.

I like the style of the place it was very old and nice.

Only 1 coffee sachet no one around at 7am to get more lacking enough power switches especially near to mirror. Light on landing on and off through night and gaps and hole in door let the light in. TV was on standby ( power switch very high up)started going on and off at 3am. On leaving 7.45 the front door was locked, back door had a bolt that was "almost" out of reach and we nearly missed our lift because of the delay. I

Comfy clean bed, plenty clean towels, toiletries. Staff friendly. Good food.
