There was a lack of any shelf space in the bedroom and the hanging rail only had 3 coat hangers on it.

A good range of tea coffee etc available 24/7 in the breakfast area, good breakfast, comfortable bed and nice rooftop terrace. Quirky theme with bedrooms modelled on prison cells

More towels in Bathroom with allotted Bathmats being supplied. Even though their was a Safe as a Bedside cabinet.....it would have been great to have been able to use it as a Safe

No tea and Coffee in rooms. Nice coffee and tea maker in the breakfast room which was available at anytime but we were on the second floor so a bit of a track down stairs to access it when required

It’s a very unique place which made for an interesting stay. Loved that we had a free standing bath in the room. We also had access to the roof terrace which was great. Staff were so friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel. Loved the roof terrace. Shame we were only there 1 night. Pub next door was great. Staff very friendly and helpful, and lovely tasty breakfast provided. Parking is easy 2 min walk away. (Free overnight)

The only thing I would have liked a chair or something in the room to leave luggage on rather than the floor but it wasn't an essential. Also a mat or something in the shower cubicle as felt a bit unsteady..

The rooms were excellent and clean, loved the décor and the food was good. The view from my room was wonderful.

Breakfast beautiful on the first day, all cooked to order, but no gluten free bread although was requested. Second day they put bacon on my veggie breakfast!

I used to pas this spot back in the 1980s/19900s on my way between Pompey to Andover for work. So I know it was busy and noisy at times with traffic. So it can still be noisy here, but generally I got a good sleep. Its a general hazard. My only negative was the light/socket back plates are clear plastic, so it was not easy to find the switches. I did like the library wallpaper but a more solid background for switches would be nice. Very minor complaint I know.

The unique bedroom doors from the old Clerkenwell Prison. The bowls etc for breakfast giving the prison theme. The wonderful pictours of Crims down the stairways added so much atmosphere. Location was great, excellent co-owned pub next door and outside the City centre. Very good breakfast and open access to tea and coffee at all times in the food area.

The proximity to the Black Boy pub! Was quite noisy- should have realised this when booking. But even after closing, the removal of the bottles to the bottle bank was a bit anti social (after midnight). Our room was dusty, on the mirror and the blinds. But everywhere else was very clean.

It was very quirky, an unusual place to stay! Loved the roof terrace. Steph was extremely friendly on arrival.
