Everything! From the moment we arrived, staff were warm, welcoming and friendly. We were offered a complimentary room upgrade which was a wonderful and unexpected surprise! Our room was absolutely stunning and decorated beautifully. It was spotless, immaculately clean and had everything you need - hairdryer, towels, and a surplus of toiletries! I’d paid extra in advance for champagne in the room as it was my partners birthday; it was lovely to find this chilling in a bucket of ice with 2 glasses on our arrival! The bed was incredibly comfortable, we had a wonderful nights sleep! My partner and I kept noting how beautifully furnished and decorated our room was! It was just immaculate. We had breakfast in the morning and the service and food were both faultless!

Room was small, although the website did state this. Would have preferred option of cooked breakfast rather than continental. Food good but they need some new cutlery, cheap and bendy! I also had to ask for a steak knife.

The pub with rooms was more than adequate for my wife and I. The evening meal on the Friday was ‘spot on’. Beer was good. Decided not to eat the second night as it was quite quiet, not a bad thing, we just wanted somewhere with a bit of atmosphere. Other than that very pleased with our stay.

The room was beautifully presented, but the space was tight, it would have benefited from an extra mirror to do hair & make up by . And a bench to put a suitcase on. We found the bed mattress too soft & squishy, but realise that is a personal preference.

We didn’t have breakfast as we went for a cooked breakfast in the town. The location was easy to find, parking good. And just a short drive to the lovely town of Crickhowell. We did a lovely walk by the river and the weather was great in October. The staff were wonderful, and the food was extremely good.The restaurant was very busy on Saturday evening but the staff managed the situation well.

The bed was a little uncomfortable in terms of a pretty severe slope on the one side. The rooms are also very very warm, the inclusion of a large fan was well received but even on a low setting is still a bit noisy during the night.

The property has recently been renovated and is very stylish. The location is fantastic and the bar and restaurant looked superb, we didn’t eat there but will definitely go back to do so.

Don't be put off by the colourful restaurant and bar in the photos on line, it's lovely once you get in there! We had trouble getting the TV to work. The bathroom had a funny smell, but maybe because the room hadn't been used much, it had gone by the time we went to bed.

Beautifully decorated bedroom and very comfy bed. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent food - when we arrived we hadn't realised it was a special "steak" night and I wasn't too sure but went ahead and ordered, neither my husband or myself had never had such well cooked delicious steaks, hats off to the chef!

I got married on Friday 8th September at Sant Ffraed House. I chose to get ready at your beautiful B&B the night before, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and your very friendly, helpful and welcoming team who went above and beyond for myself and two bridesmaids stay. We had a lovely meal the night before and the beds were so comfortable and the rooms were gorgeous! We had a slight mishap in the morning of everyone in the village losing power as I was getting ready, but your staff went above and beyond to try and get this sorted, phoning up the national grid about getting power back on asap because I needed to get ready. We were luckily able to move over to Sant Ffraed House earlier than expected so was no stress and simply just one of those things that just happens, ( if it was to be anyone’s luck that morning it was mine! 😂 ) My husband and I will be planning to come back next year around our anniversary to stay with you as it was a special part of my day and something I will never forget. Minor issue with shower and lighting in bathroom which manager said would attend to post stay.

Helpful staff - late check in as at wedding locally - Manager helpful with checking into property in the early hours . Breakfast was very good , tasty and great service.

We realised the room was small but did not expect to have a 4ft bed which was too soft on the sides. The en-suite was very cramped. There are no photos of this on your website. Expensive for the facilities.

Traffic noise but we expected there would be some due to the location of the inn.

Gorgeous decor in pub and rooms. Room and bathroom spotless. All staff welcoming and friendly. Food very tasty and reasonably priced. Our room was very hot due to the current heatwave but the staff did go out of their way to accommodate us with a room swap and provided a fan to help circulate the air, thank you.

The only thing was the waiting times for food were a little long.

We had a fantastic time - the room was amazing, the food was delicious and the staff were great - especially Victoria who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We would definitely come back on our next visit to Wales!
