The room was dusty and the ceiling was full of cobwebs. Bathroom needs updating.

Nice pub with great Chinese restaurant. The staff were lovely and the bar customers were friendly.

Didn't like kids running around corridors screaming and knocking on doors.

Great location. And they have gluten free lager in bar so big bonus.

Unfortunately not a good value for money. Being a non-smoking facility, the corridor smelled with cigarettes, the mixed smell of cigarettes and cleaning chemicals in the room was terrible. The windows were not tight, so it was cold in the room in spite of the heating. Even worse in the bathroom, so that we couldn’t take a shower because the room temperature was close to the outside one. There was almost no hot water (only tepid). One of the towels was dirty.

Location (was convenient for the purpose of our trip).

Basic and a place to lay your head if you don't mind karaoke
    • Leisure trip
    • Family with young children
    • Standard Family Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

The bathroom was surface cleaned, but behind the doors and in the corners was not (hair, dust balls and other unpleasantness). There was karaoke on Saturday night that we could sing along to in our room. Luckily our youngest slept through it but if you like an early night, this is not the place for you. There was a kettle and tea things in the room but there were no cups which was really strange so we had to go out for tea/coffee in the morning. The door must be locked when you leave during the day and it's hard to even close. There's no dedicated parking but we found street parking OK.

Location is great given there aren't many options in Tillycoultry and we needed to stay close by. The beds were comfortable and most of the room was clean.

Warm room with radiator to dry damp clothes. Above a bar but didn't hear a thing. Separate entrance. Friendly, helpful staff. Chinese restaurant that was below the accommodation was closed due to Chinese New Year but staff recommended a nearby bistro that was excellent. Nearby cafe serves breakfast if you need one before setting off

All the basics are there, including coffee and tea which you don't get across the Channel, but there are no hair dryers - and they are standard in most hotel rooms these days - and I'm not sure that an iron is available if clothes need sprucing up.

The Ochils are within a few minutes walk of the front door so if you like hills there is nowhere closer. I have always found the staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast being supplied and there was no car parking. We parked on a street nearby. One of the Mirror lights in the bathroom did not work.

There was no Breakfast included in the price. The first room we were shown had damp on the walls due to a shower being left. The gentleman member of staff organised another better room, which was adequate for our requirements. The location was not to bad as we were attending a function in another town nearby and the Inn organised taxis for us. We ate an evening meal at the Inn and it was good in pleasant surroundings. Overall the Staff were good some still require some training.

Beds where old sprung mattress but a mattress topper can solve this. Room can do with an update eg simple IKEA units bed etc.. other than that price is OK :-)

It was central for where I wanted, staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant was amazing, bar staff could make drinks of ur choice as I asked to make a new shot up and they done just that, room was spacious adequate facilities for what we needed for over night stay. Locals in the pub where a laugh to get along with. And not too loud as rooms are above.
