Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

FranceThe room we used was clean and comfortable but could do with refreshing. My only complaint about the breakfast was that water needs to be boiling to make a decent cup of tea. It just doesn't taste right with hot water from a thermos.
Location was ideal for where we were subsequently visiting. Plenty of available parking. Good sized room. All staff very pleasant and extremely helpful. Breakfast excellent.

Lovely building, great access to motorway without being too close, friendly staff, clean recently decorated rooms. Nice bar and restaurant. Feels like a real old inn type hotel, but with modern updates. Recommended!

United KingdomSuper king bed was two beds pushed together. The mattress protectors were two separate ones and the corner ties to hold them in were broken so kept moving around whilst slept. But a very minor issue.
Stayed here several times previously. Always a lovely stay. Staff very polite and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable with all facilities required.

United KingdomWould prefer a shower only rather than shower over a bath. WiFi was difficult to sort out. Lighting was still very dim in the bedroom with all lights on.
Room was a good size, had all the facilities needed and all worked well. Bed was comfortable and room had a nice feel. There were two chairs in the room, often hotels only supply one. TV appeared to be smart with internet access for iplayer etc, again unusual.

United KingdomFaulty shower, cold water valve stuck and only very hot water coming out of the shower head. Some of the toiletries did not work. It would have been a nice touch to have some complimentary biscuits in our room. Poor lighting near dressing table. The breakfast whilst self service, would be better if tea and coffee were served by the waitress. Also, some breakfast items ran out and we had to ask for them to be replaced. ,

United KingdomWe were disappointed that there wasn’t any biscuits to have with our tea in the room upon arrival. This seemed mean for what we had paid to stay. Other hotels we have stayed in this year had a good selection. There was also no tablet of soap and the shower cream was fixed high up on the wall which made it awkward when I took a bath. I had to stand up soap myself all over and then lie back in the bath again. There was also an absence of hand and body lotion. Again this has always been provided in other establishments.
The bed was very comfortable and we couldn’t hear the Road so we slept well. The hotel was well located for slimbridge which is why we stayed there. We ate at the restaurant in the evening and enjoyed the food. We both had pizza and it wasn’t over priced. There was also a set price menu you could choose from. There was also plenty of parking spaces.

I had a king-size bed so the room was large. The restaurant served excellent meals, and the service from the staff was superb. Thank you🙂
