Breakfast finished a bit too early but can heartily recommend The Copper Kettle cafe across the green if you want a lie in.

The Buck is perfectly positioned overlooking the village green in Reeth. Our room, the one with te four poster, has one of the best views you can have from a bathroom. The bar below is friendly too.

There was a bit of a repetitive noise from the bathroom, guessing it was something to do with the water supply but it didn’t affect our stay

There wasn’t anything to dislike, nothing was too much. Wish we could have stayed longer. The breakfast was served a little early for me (8-9am) but that is personal preference. A like to set off on the walks/start their day early- I’m not an early bird.

I read the reviews and wasn’t expect too much as a few had mentioned the hotel being “dated”. The room was clean and comfortable with a what seemed like a newly fitted modern bathroom. The room had a large comfortable bed, the room its self was big with plenty of space. The view was exceptional!!!! Parking wasn’t a problem for us, we parked at the side of the building. The price was excellent for the room including a breakfast. The staff were all very helpful and evening meal was yummy. Our stay was very pleasant, wish we could have stayed longer.

Massive TV on during breakfast with all the depressing news being shouted at us. Stressful. Nobody was enjoying it. Why was it on? Have some music if you want the noise. Just turn it off, give people a break from screens and slaughter and let us wake up slowly, please. Kind of ruined the breakfast

Everything was perfect. We just wanted a night away from home, kids etc. So we booked a night on a whim. We were not disappointed at all. Really friendly staff, easy and friendly check in. The room was AMAZING. The bathroom was huge, which I did not expect. The bed was so comfy and we even had Netflix 😏 We had every intention of exploring. But the weather put a stop to that, so we decided to stay in and watch the rugby downstairs in the bar. The fire was gorgeous. Food was amazing 👏 😋 Breakfast was also perfect. Will definitely come back. Thank you x

Breakfast was great, room comfortable and well located in the village. Free parking very nearby. I left an item behind by mistake, and was contacted the same day by the Staff. Unfortunately I was already most of the way home, but the staff were more than happy to post my item back to me via tracked mail at cost only despite my attempts to add some extra for their trouble. Very generous of them. Will certainly return again in the future if i'm in the area.

Was in a location that was easy to get to everywhere x the staff were really friendly and the gentleman who cooked our breakfast was first class, even cooking sausage for our two dogs who stayed free of charge x I definitely would stay there again.

Lighting in my room 2 I think inadequate/not well designed: difficult to see into wardrobe. Dogs in bar should be better controlled - yapping - but I guess that’s difficult to enforce!
