The room was very quiet on the Saturday night, perhaps surprisingly as this is a town centre pub. However on the Sunday night there was a live band which was naturally quite loud that went on until around 11.30 and then there was an outside table directly under our room with loud talking and laughing going on for some time after that. Obviously if you stay in a pub you must expect the sound of revelry but it was a bit late on a Sunday and maybe worth noting if you want an early night.

Excellent breakfast, good ingredients cooked to perfection. Staff were cheerful and ready to help with anything needed.

Having to get out of the most comfortable bed in the world

Shower room needs updating, sooner rather than later. Not enough power sockets in the room. TV a bit small for the room. Needs a large mirror in the main room, for hair dryer use.

Location was spot on, in the middle of Horncastle. The Hotel was very nice, with lots of old world charm. Breakfast was really good. We had the Tapas, which was very good, lots of it. Lots of parking and easy to get to. Staff very friendly and helpful.

That I couldn’t stay loner!

Good local friendly pub atmosphere , with an area where could watch football without disturbing other patrons. Extremely friendly and helpful landlords Tim and Tony who made me feel very welcome and part of the community! Great food, beer and fascilities.

Lovely little family run pub. Nice location parking is behind the pub a little tricky to initially get to but once I knew where it was it was super easy. Staff were really friendly and the food is amazing!! Lovely breakfast with choice of cold food or hot or both! I had an evening meal there and the food was amazing freshly cooked full of flavour good portion sizes and good prices! I was travelling solo for first time and was a little nervous and they all put me at ease!

The bed was very "springy" in terms of feeling the springs. Quite a lot of pub noise till quite late/early. I'd chosen this b'n'b due to another review saying there was little to no noise from the pub below. Bathroom was quite dusty. Not sure how often their "single" rooms are used

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Lovely pub. Kettle with a decent selection of drinks in the room. Nice selection of juices and cooked breakfasts are made to order and you can choose what you'd like. Good coffee.

Shower cubicle was black with mould, as were windows. On opening the door I was faced with a wall that needed work on it, plastering or painting. Not a nice sight.

Breakfast was really good. Room was small but warm and quiet. Nice for one person. Lovely clean soft towels. Helpful staff and I was able to leave my bag when I arrived a bit early.

Location was great we were visiting wolds wildlife park with family on Sunday but spent Saturday in around Horncastle. Really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was brilliant. I was concerned about noise before we stayed but room was lovely, quiet had good night’s sleep thank you .

Everything comfortable room very clean tea coffee facilities staff very polite owners exceptional and accommodating beer lovely atmosphere spectacular breakfast amazing everything you could wish for have been twice now will definately return
