Bar & kitchen is currently shut, however are some other pubs around a 5 minute drive away. Continental breakfast is included and they had tried to give a few options, but unfortunately not the best given the lack of kitchen, pastries were clearly from a packet/not fresh.

The room was lovely, the hotel all appears recently redecorated to a high standard. Bathtub was a good size and great power shower. Free WiFi included. Nice little village. Once they get the kitchen and bar open it will be brilliant/well worth the visit.

Shame the restaurant and bar wasn’t open as new management was waiting to be confirmed as there’s no other pub in walking distance but this will change. I prefer a cooked breakfast in the morning.

Great communication and flexibility. We stayed here after a wedding nearby, arriving at midnight and there were no problems at all. The staff were friendly, welcoming and the room was lovely. Great shower and bathroom too. Really reasonable price as well!

The only downside is the lack of staff in the dining room in the morning. That felt a bit odd BUT I totally understand as pubs are long hours

The welcome was wonderful. The owner showed me to a wonderfully decorated and clean bedroom. The bedrooms have all the mod cons, i.e. digital heating/air con, automatic lights in the bathroom. Coffee machine, tea, etc. The bed was soo comfy I didn't want to get up for work the next day. Lovely friendly customers and great homemade food brought straight to the table by the chef. I will be back. Continental breakfast in the morning with everything you could wish for.

The only downside was the green sensor lights in the room meant it never got truly dark.

This was a last minute booking but really good service and the rooms were a really joyful surprise - clean, modern fittings and quirky. The beds were comfy, the water hot and the extras thoughtful and good quality.

Unfortunately, due to lack of staff, only a continental breakfast could be offered, which was self service in the mornings. No staff on site. Good selection of items available, but not all had been refreshed or restocked for the second morning. This is the only criticism; otherwise a super place to stay.

Unfortunately and not the property nor staffs fault, the hot water boiler decided to die - No hot water, on our stay. Just unlucky.

One this was there were water stains on the ceiling, it need to be repainted, there was no mirror, iron or iron board in the room. There could have been alternative milks like oat or soy for non dairy eaters, but on a whole breakfast was okay

The staff were friendly, I received a call asking about my arrival time which was nice. The room was modern, very clean and great bathroom, carpet was clean and soft. Had a great nights sleep.
