Such a lovely home to stay in - literally a home away from home with everything you need! Great location for town centre, some lovely walks to do, some may take a 5/10 minute drive to get to. Homemade lemon cake on arrival is definitely a welcome bonus!! Delicious.

The property was fabulous. So well equipped- had everything you would need and more. Very comfortable and great location to access the town. Lots of information about local amenities.

Parking permit is provided but you will be very lucky to park nearby.

Fantastic location- we were able to walk into town. Also very close by car to south lakes safari zoo. The house was small and cosy but beautifully presented. Ideal for our family of 4.

There was nothing, not to like.it was wonderful.

The couple were lovely who owned it,spoke easily to mel before we arrived asking questions which she answered fully.The House is really nice and cosy,nice log fire ,comfy furniture, beds very comfortable. We didn't need to take any condiments which was lovely, as we have visited lots.of places and we had to take our own tea bags etc.Mel even left us fresh milk and some gorgeous cake,which was really appreciated, we even got into the house early which was a bonus,I will be telling my freinds and family about The Butlers House we had a grestb2 night stay.

Maybe the mattress is just a little toooo soft to be perfect but only for a few nights so just something a little different to usual

The house has been modernised and is very comfortable, but the character has not been diminished at all. It's a beautiful property. Mel is an exceptional host 👏

That we were only there for a weekend!

Beautifully decorated, this is a calm, comfortable and welcoming house. Had everything we needed for a lovely weekend away, including a great coffee machine, and log fire. And a delicious cake on arrival, too! Host Mel's correspondence was all very helpful, too.

The house is immaculately clean and very well presented. The beds are comfortable, the shower is fantastic. The kitchen has everything you need and more.

Great little house in Ulverston that was ideally situated for exploring the town and local area. Very well kitted out house done up to a high standard.

Communication regarding when we could check in was excellent, a delicious cake to welcome us and everything there that we needed for making tea, coffee and a roaring fire all provided. A car pass for local streets was also provided which was really handy .

Only booking for 2 nights. Car parking wasn't a problem as we got a park right away just up the road.

Loved the location. 100m from the nearest pubs and start of town centre. Every facility in this modern, quirky little home. The lovely cake! Owners got in touch to let us know there was no rush to leave at 11.00 as no one in that night.

We ran out of hot water but that was just because four of us needed to shower. There was plenty more hot water in the morning

Beautiful comfy house with great facilities and lovely extra touches like flapjack and milk. Great location. Lovely comfortable beds and a very helpful host.

Main double bedroom is on the road side which gets quieter at night but might bother some people. Peaceful twin room at the back. Would have been helpful to have a little coffee table in sitting room and a small table in twin bedroom. These are just suggestions.

Perfect little townhouse with calm atmosphere, very central location and beautifully decorated, comfortable and well equipped. Very clean. Owner friendly and helpful and went that extra mile. Welcome pint of milk and cake awaited us after our journey.

I slept in the back twin bedded room and only slight disadvantage was that there were no blinds on the Velux windows. One window had tinted glass but the other didn’t. It’s just a minor thing as I slept very well there. Hope owners don’t mind me mentioning.
