Nothing! Everything was perfect!

Everything! Our second visit and everything was as lovely as the first. This is the ideal location for true relaxation. We never see or hear anyone and the views over Dartmoor are stunning. Spotlessly clean and stylishly equipped with everything you need. Elizabeth is very accommodating and the little extras in the fridge etc are most welcome. Highly recommended.

The location is lovely, despite bad weather we had great views. Would love to visit again in warmer weather and spend time in the outdoor area.

Nothing at all

Everything. Stunning luxury accomodation. When can I move in? 😃. For me , I especially like the self check in. Everything you need is there and more! Lovely touches of wine, milk, butter, eggs. Luggage trolley provided to carry your luggage to the property and beautiful Christmas Wreath on cabin door. We had a most enjoyable Christmas here.

The only niggle was nowhere to put things in the bedroom. A few hooks on the wall might help?

It was heavily raining and we got soaking wet one night on our way home. We couldn’t dry our cloth’s unfortunately. The heating is nicely hidden which is great, but sadly it wasn’t the most practical in this situation. But it really did not change how amazed we were by this cabin.

The view was absolutely breathtaking. Pictures don’t do justice how beautiful it is to sit on the couch, cuddled up under a blanket, watching the sunset or in our case the rain. The apartment is gorgeous. Every single detail about it. Elizabeth was super generous. In the fridge we found wine, eggs, milk (two kind) butter which was super thoughtful. This is a perfect getaway for couples.

Was a lovely place to stay and no experience was spared to make my stay comfortable and present, its was quiet and the views was spectacular. The location was also convenient as its a 10-15 drive to most beaches. Will definitely be booking it again next year

Storage for clothes was limited.

Wonderful location: the cabin had panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and was set some way from the owners’ house in their extensive gardens. It was quiet and secluded from adjoining properties. The cabin was decorated in a modern way and had a combined fan/microwave oven as well as a dishwasher and ceramic hob. The bathroom was well appointed and there was plenty of hot water for two showers. The lounge area had a very calm atmosphere and would be a good spot for meditating or reading, however we watched the TV most evenings because the full range of channels was available, including Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney Plus. Although the location is rural, it is within easy driving distance from coastal resorts such as Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. It is also within walking distance of Berry Pomeroy Castle (NT). Note that the cabin is situated in a lawned area which means you need to take your wellies with you for when it rains!

Some more clothes storage would be good. Maybe something under the bed? The drying cycle on the washing machine did not work properly.

The location, particularly the view, was fantastic. As an architect I really appreciated the interior design flourishes, particularly the concealed lighting and the contemporary shower room. The bottle of wine was a nice touch, too!

Warning to any other visitors to not use “Waze” to find the location. It sent us down a tractor trail. (Of course when I opened up the directions from the host, I quickly realised where we had gone wrong.) This is not a comment on the stay which was absolutely perfect, and more a word of warning using Waze.

Honestly couldn’t fault our stay. Great communication from the hosts. Beautiful welcome goodies, including a chilled bottle of cava. Also appreciated the well stocked coffee - and the bag of useful bits in the bathroom. All the details from the comfy bed to the heated towel rails in the bathroom made the whole experience a luxurious one. Never seen such a well equipped kitchen either. And of course, the view was the absolute highlight. It was a total treat to enjoy my morning coffee taking in the vast views outdoors.

The only thing we would recommend to others is the access is a little bumpy at present no low sports cars this is soon to be rectified.

The Cabin at Barnstormers was perfect, so tranquil. Everything you needed in the Cabin. Such a relaxing & homely stay. Stunning views out, beautiful sunsets. Even a cute set up for a fire & marshmallow’s. 🔥🌄 Definitely booking again in the near future. 💯 We didn’t want to leave! 🪶 Thank you Peter & Elizabeth 🫶

The view was amazing and the photos don't do it justice. It was a quiet and relaxing place. The bottle of Cava in the fridge was a nice surprise, as well as oak milk! 😊 The surrounding areas are full of fun things to do and there were leaflets in the cabin to browse through.

very very minor detail. we struggled with the oven as it is a modern digital version which took quite a while for us to bend our simple minds around, but we got there in the end after working it out.

Quiet and secluded. Modern neutral decor and fittings. Brilliant view through the feature window.

A few ants running around and a woodlouse found it’s way into the cabin we are unsure of where they entered but was only a small problem we encountered

Lovely Morden cabin with beautiful views had lots of essentials we were surprised how many little toiletries were there !
