This is a personal one, and by no means a criticism, but I found the mattress to be rather too firm for my liking. That said, I fully appreciate that this is subjective, and that others may approve of it being that firm.

Very well maintained and clean property in a lovely location. Ideal for me whilst I was working in Leominster this week. Very well equipped and nice powerful shower was much appreciated.

The properties are in an idyllic rural location. They are beautifully converted farm buildings, more than adequately heated, furnished and equipped, and the host is welcoming, obliging and attentive to all needs.

The unit was very cosy and clean, and it felt like a home away from home. We really liked the quiet and peaceful countryside surroundings, and Sue is a very nice and friendly host.

Unit was nice and cosy, good facilities with a lovely, big bed. We had x2 sizeable dogs and x3 adults and still had room to move & cook which was a bonus! Walking trails available immediately outside the property. The owner Sue was extremely helpful and accommodating with check-in/out times. Thanks for a nice overnight stay :-)

Located 15 minutes from Leominster and in a beautiful country setting. Sue’s property is wonderful if you’re seeing friends and relatives in the area. It was quiet, comfortable and very private. Being self catering is a bonus for you to make yourself some breakfast and coffee in the morning. There are some wonderful villages especially Pembridge, Eardisland and Kingsland. Some great pubs to visit in each one.

This small but snug apartment was impressive in every way: spotlessly clean, comfortable, well appointed with everything necessary for a relaxing stay, and all at a most reasonable rate. The key was in the door when I arrived, the peaceful farmyard provides acres of free parking, and landlady Sue was a model of patient helpfulness. The delightful village of Pembridge, two miles away (described by Arthur Mee, in his famous series of travel books, as "A Walk in Tudor England") is emphatically not to be missed, and boasts a number of attractive old inns, while the historic market town of Leominster, some seven miles further, has at least one sizable supermarket. I thoroughly enjoyed my brief visit to the Calf Cotts, and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

This was my second visit to Calf Cotts - I enjoyed it so much last time, that I just had to come again! As before, the single unit (Cott) was the perfect accommodation for me, beautifully presented, with all the essentials provided. Sue came to say hello just after I arrived and was her usual delightful self! I only stayed a couple of nights but managed to visit parts of the lovely Wye Valley and Shropshire Hills in that time. I just know I'll be back again soon! Thank you so much Ray. (Sussex).

Firm sofa! Lack of privacy outside the property if all were occupied. As it was, a friend and I were in adjoining cottages so it was fine.

My lone trip was an end of summer visit. I was welcomed by very nice hosts. The apartment I found to be 'outstanding' in cleanliness, comfort and tranquility. The apartment itself is equipped with everything you need and I was amazed at the standard of equipment installed. (BOSCH halogen hob, electric oven and fridge, MIRA shower!!) The shower was excellent and the bed very, very comfortable. The central heating worked perfectly. There is parking immediately outside your front door so no drama with unloading and moving your luggage. This spacious outside area was particularly convenient to me as I was on a fishing trip, so assembling my tackle was made easy. Finally, if you like watching House Martins flying around during your morning coffee and listening to Jackdaws preparing to roost in the evening with a glass of red wine, (nice little table and chair set outside), this could be the place for you! A very pleasurable stay, thank you...
