Such a lovely room. Beautiful furnishings, excellent bathroom, amazing shower! And lovely gift on arrival in the room. Breakfast was continental with an offer of cooked eggs. Everyone sits together in a lovely dining room, which we really liked. Staff were great. A little out of town, but very quiet.

Nothing that we didn't like, only thing I maybe would suggest maybe some black out blinds or curtains.

Lovely place very welcoming, our furry friend could stay too. Breakfast was very food, great advantage having parking, would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Kathryn explained that doing the house was still ongoing. This is just a statement, as there was absolutely nothing wrong.

Fantastic location for station and walking into town. My daughter had arranged with Kathryn to decorate our rooms with balloons , poccessco and chocolates for our anniversary. Nothing was too much. Very friendly and bubbley personality, wonderful host. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I didn’t like the coffee. There were 3 machines and all complicated to use with no milk pods so when you added milk the coffee was cold. There was only continental breakfast available which was not clear when we booked.

I liked the position of the B&B. I like the little touches of wine and chocolates on arrival in our room. I liked the shower. I liked the piece and quiet. I like the decor of the rooms.

Honestly nothing could have been better it was the perfect stay. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Local club was closed, but short walk into Looe and loads of great restaurants to choose from

The access process was to pick up our keys, front door left open. Unfortunately another guest locked the front door so we had to wait to get in. Rang the host and she arrived within 5 minutes so nothing really lost.

Easy going, friendly staff and we felt right at home and able to come and go as we pleased.

Beautiful room,excellent facilities and the owner was so warm and welcoming. It made the stay extra special. Breakfast was lovely and added extras of eggs if wanted, gorgeous local, fresh produce. Great recommendations of nearby places to explore and eat!

Kathryn made us feel really welcome, she was warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Everything was immaculately clean and the house has been refurbished to an exceptionally high level with attention to detail. Kathryn has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The bed was super comfy, breakfast was delicious and Kathryn was the perfect host.

Everything was to our liking and so I can't really think of anything that would make me write anything negative nor constructive.

Kathryn is a brilliant host, really warm and attentive. Couldn't fault our stay and will definitely book again in the not too distant future. The Captains House is perfectly located opposite the train station, behind the pub, so very easy to get back after a lovely evening out.
