Absolutely nothing

Beautiful cosy room with lovely modern bathroom. It was a nice touch providing fresh milk for our tea in the bedroom but a biscuit would have also been nice. Cooked full English breakfast was perfect and they were very happy to be flexible with exactly what you wanted. Friendly staff and would definitely stay again if ever in he area.

Loved my stay at The Carden Arms. The room was very comfortable and the staff was outstanding. They went above and beyond - I was working in the area for a few days and they even gave me a lift on both mornings and served my breakfast before the official breakfast time. The pub is also very cosy and the food was delicious. Thank you so much to the whole team!

We stayed here as a stop over to get to Liverpool the next morning. It was easy to find. The dinner was fantastic. Local ingredients and great menu. The rooms were lovely, perfect for our needs. Breakfast was really great too. Great Experience and would definitely return.

A rail in the shower for elderly guests would be useful. Granddaughter had to help me into shower as I am a little unsteady on my feet.

We liked the setting, very quaint. Gorgeous village. Staff very friendly.

I had the single room which had nowhere to hang clothes and no hangers either. Small but comfortable.

Location perfect as very near to Golf Cub where we attended a family surprise party. Very clean and Staff very friendly. Lovely shower.

The room was very hot, as was the weather. We kept the window open in the evening which made the room a little noisy until after 11-30 pm.

Great location as we were visiting friends 5 miles away. Comfortable room. Great breakfast and lovely staff made a very pleasant stay.

Couldn't alte- so not so badr position of the shower - due to a missing knob. Due to staff shortages breakfast was a little tardy - but not in a hurry to leave

The location for us was in an ideal position. I love staying in a pub with rooms and food with character and the Carden Arms had all of that..

Lot of dogs in the bar. I know, it is a country pub and in a village but still....

The Carden Arms has a very good restaurant and serves quaffable real beer. It is situated in an attractive Cheshire village, albeit one that is increasingly urbanized - but aren't they all? It is a short walk to the village shop.

Beautiful old pub with many little nooks to sit and enjoy a drink. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 2 (Hackney), which was not only lovely to look at, it was extremely comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was stylish and spotless. Restaurant has a good choice of food, we stayed for 4 nights and ate breakfast and dinner there on three of the days. The food was exceptional, highly recommended.

The room was very nice. Modern, but still has an inn-feel to it. No problems at all. All of the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was great as well.

as a solo Traveller I was gives a 6 people table for dinner and had to wait much longer than expected to get my menu. But dinner and service was good once the menu arrived.

we left the single glazed window open so there was some noise from traffic passing in the morning our fault mabe wouldnt have noticed if we hzd shut window we will stay again but book a room at the back

the quiet location and the rustic interior. the dining room is furnished with old pub and farmhouse tables and chairs. the menu is very varied for both evening meals and breakfast.
