There was very little space for unpacking, which might have been a problem if we'd been staying for more than one night.

Very large bathroom. Room was good temperature and freshly aired. Shower was hot and had a good flow. Hotel was well maintained. Car parking was convenient and cheap - less than £4 for 24 hours.

The hotel was not doing food on one night we were there - I'm not sure why. It would have been helpful to know this earlier!

The room was great - large and comfortable. Very comfy beds and an excellent shower/bathroom. Breakfast was substantial and tasty. The bar was also large, light and very pleasant, with open fires. Service was great at all times. Very good location for a visit to lovely Berwick on Tweed. We had two dogs with us and I don't think I've ever come across a more dog-friendly hotel - the staff made it so easy.

Windows draughty and let in cold air and more importantly traffic noise all through the night. Made it difficult to get to and stay asleep. Couldn't remove subtitles on TV screen.

I stayed with 2 large dogs (lurcher and basset hound) this was our second time staying at the hotel due to how welcome we are all made to feel. Check in was quick and pain free staff made a fuss over the dogs. My lurcher is very dog reactive but that was not an issue and was treat the same as any other dog which is rare and very nice to see. The room was warm clean and modern and the shower was hot and powerful. Breakfast was served in the small room next to reception due to having the dogs, this is a great idea and much better than eating in the bar as we did on my previous stay. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

The only caveat was the 10 minute walk to the town centre which normally wouldn't be an issue but unfortunately we were plagued by rain!

The room was spacious yet cosy with a lovely large window with a view of the Victorian train station and viaduct. The bathroom was modern and sleek with a very nice shower. Access to netflix was appreciated on rainy days! The staff were delightful and very helpful. The bar downstairs was warm, cosy and comfortable, and the food was excellent (breakfast and dinner!).

This was a last minute booking as my train back home was 6.30am the following morning and was convenient to the train station. We had a drink in the bar which was friendly and relaxed. The room was very nice and the bathroom was small but very clean. I didn't have breakfast as my train was so early but would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Our rooms had recently been refurbished so were very tidy and clean with a large flat screen tv. Staff were super friendly. We dined on the first evening and the food was quality and plentiful. Breakfast both mornings was a large full English, with a good choice of cereals and jams etc. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return!
