We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomBedside lights, lack of! Tatty coat hangers. Difficult to adjust shower flows and temperature because my 84yo Lear old hands couldn’t get a good enough grip on the control knobs once switched on!
Good room “teas made”, spacious bedroom, comfortable bed, ability to open the windows, big towels. Chandeliers! Lovely long and very well stocked bar, flags of nations very nice touch. Location excellent, only a £5 taxi ride from the station on a Sunday and Saturn taxis quick to come. Only a five minute walk from Wetherspoons but other pubs close, friendly night club Blake’s three minutes away.

I think hotel to get a private company to do this for them independently, very disappointed in that no breakfast or evening meal served on this site. Overall hotel dated could do with refurbishment, dated Bath, shower and sink.

United KingdomThe area of the hotel where I stayed was uncomfortably warm even with all the heating off. Carpets were outdated and the room was a bit small. There was no meals in the restaurant due to a shortage in staff and no room service.
The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious, there was a bath tub, kettle, safe, ironing board, fridge, hair dryer and fans. The room was cleaned impeccably daily.

Everything was fine, the hotel is quite elegant and functioned well. Parking was easy.

United KingdomThe room was VERY warm. Not at all what I expected. I asked for fans, as I couldn't rest comfortably with the temperature. And the one window in the room did not open, so I couldn't get any sort of fresh air or cool the room down.
The location is good - easy to get to bus, train, or local ammenities.

United KingdomHad trouble getting in to room with key card several times- staff were very friendly and helpful, but still a nuisance having to go back to reception each time. Only a lamp on one side of the bed and main light in the room not very bright- so reading at night was difficult. Facilities very basic.

United KingdomOn entering the bedroom was surprised to find two fans considering it was early February but soon realised why as room was very warm, heating was off so only option was to open the window and have the fans on, as I didn’t want outside noise and can’t sleep with fans running had to close and turn off when going to bed and room quickly warmed up again so slept with the quilt off most of the night.
Breakfast was excellent, thought £12.50 was around the higher end but what turned up was worth every penny, good quality, well cooked and plenty of it. bed was comfortable although only a small double and room was quiet.

FranceTemperature in the room. Too hot at certain times. Only bath no shower, which is a bit dangerous for older people.
The location close to the Tilbury cruise terminal ( a 10 minute boat ride away). The pub in the hotel. Many restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. Very friendly staff.
