There was nothing that I didn’t like.

It was an absolute delight to stay at the Clive Arms. It was so much more than I expected. Everything was tastefully done. The staff were lovely? The accommodation was fantastic. It was a really good start to my holiday, I’d like to have stayed longer.

A superb room with a king sized bed, good storage, comfortable settee and excellent amenities. And the bathroom was a great size with lovely thick and fluffy towels.

The hotel is on quite a busy road so there is some slight traffic noise if you are in the main hotel at the front.

Lovely accommodation just outside Ludlow. Really comfortable beds. On site is a farm shop, cafe, plant shop, distillery and artist studio. The restaurant in The Clive Arms does get very busy and booking is essential.

Really no problems or complaints

we have passed the Clive on numerous occasions and never thought to stop, but we were very pleasantly surprised, the room was clean and comfortable beds were very comfy, bathroom impressive food well presented and tasty, shopping on site terrific. Staff friendly and welcoming, ample parking.

Service in the farm shop for breakfast was slow and not comparable to the restaurant service

Found the breakfast portions rather large, coffee was very bitter on the last morning.

Exceptional staff, friendly and efficient, very helpful at all times. Menu and evening meal excellent, as was the Afternoon Tea. Comfortable bed and lovely room, had everything you could want.

Whilst the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, a fridge in the room and room safe would have made them exceptional.

Peaceful and spacious location that suited us. Dinner, which was not available every night, was excellent, this was not an issue since we were visiting family locally and there are plenty of places to eat within a short journey.

Absolutely nothing!

The quality and size of the room matched my experience of 4/5 star hotels. Very comfy super king size bed, loose leaf tea and fresh coffee for refreshment, plus large comfy sofa completed the very welcome creature comforts. The bathroom and shower was large and spotless (both rooms had benefitted from a very tasteful refurb). On top of this, we were bowled over by the efficiency and friendliness of all the staff. We ate very well at the restaurant too. Thanks for such a comfortable stay, Clive Arms!

Breakfast was fine. We loved the room which was spotlessly clean and very spacious. Staff are lovely. We felt the dog charge of £20 per night was steep when'll that was provided was a water bowl and four poo bags!

It is a little way out of the town and taxis aren’t always reliable but we are in at the Clive Arms and really enjoyed our meal.

The staff at both the Clive Arms and the Farm Shop next door where we had breakfast were simply delightful. The room was comfortable, clean and came with ground coffee and fresh tea if you wanted it.

Noise right outside our room early in the morning from a delivery van.

The room was clean, well decorated, very spacious and comfortable. We loved the toiletries in the bathroom. We got breakfast at the Farm Kitchen which was lovely, we did have to pay extra for this but got tea and coffee for free. There was lots to do on the site and the hotel is only a 5 minute drive from Ludlow. The pub was a lovely place to have a drink and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Sadly no evening dinner was available during our stay, but that is todays world.

Great location, plus the bonus of the ‘farm shop’ and ‘garden centre’. All very available and provided a good addition to the normal hotel facilities. Not to mention the excellent breakfast kitchen.

To he honest the only thing I could fault is that the quantity of freshly ground coffee could have been a bit more generous.

The bedroom and bathroom were generously proportioned and spotlessly clean. Bedding and towels were of good quality and luxury toiletries were provided together with tea and coffee making facilities. The check-in and check-out arrangements were simple and quick. This is a quality establishment at a reasonable price.
