It was extremely well decorated and very clean/tidy! Couldn’t fault it especially for the price it was very good value for money! They even let us check in early as me and my girlfriend were stuck in bewdly because my car had broken down!

The internet for TV watching wasn't that great, it took ages to get a programme to work.

The bedroom window self-locks when closed and there was no key so I couldn’t reopen it.

Our suite was very clean and tidy, with good sized rooms, great facilities, excellent shower and very comfortable beds and bedding. It is located in a quiet road off the main street. I thoroughly recommend this place.

The accommodation is in an excellent location. It was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The outside patio looked lovely but didn't use as it was raining, It was lovely on Easter Sunday to see the steam trains going past in the distance. The key code entry was really easy. All communications with the host was clear and helpful I would gladly stay again and would recommend.

Only two minor issues. The shower soap and shampoo dispenser are behind the shower and with shower on you struggle to se and get them. Second thing on one side of the bed no bedside table. Eva shelf would be good

The only downfall was that there was no access to a kitchen. Maybe a small kitchen downstairs would have been ideal but this didn’t cause any inconvenience.

The property was very clean and the rooms were spacious. The beds were comfortable. It was good that we had access to the shop-front to relax and catch up. Overall it was a beautiful property. Would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing we didn't like (but would like to let the owners know that the bathroom door seems to be catching on the tiled floor and I would not like to see it get scratched).

What a gem of a place. Situated 3 minutes from Fore Street which contains pubs, bars, restaurants, shops, book shops, charity shops and museum and then onto the river and bridge. Car park 3 minutes the other way and very reasonably priced. The security into the building was very good having, a keypad on the outside gate, a keypad on the front door and a key to get into the room. The room itself was really lovely with a contemporary design, spotlessly clean and felt very warm and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the duvet was lush. Well done to the owner who added little touches to make you feel welcome like a mini fridge, books to read and even umbrellas by the front door for guests to borrow in inclement weather. There is also a lounge next door for guests to use . For the price this is by far the best room we have stayed in. We will definitely stay her again.

There was no hairdryer and I didn’t realise until after I’d washed my hair so ended up having to walk about all morning with wet hair.

Beautifully furnished room and lovely big bed and power shower. It was a great location too - in town and near all the shops and bars. The check in process was also really easy. Would definitely stay again.

Couple of things completely beyond the owner’s control but the police were dealing with something there on the doorstep when we arrived, not sure what happened but we just took ourselves off for a drink and they’d gone when we came back later. May not be related but we were also woken up by 2 drunk guests screaming at each other in street and banging on the door trying to get in at 2am. Was quite distressing. The nearby church also dings every 15 minutes all through the night :(

Such a hidden gem and a fantastic price for what you get. Very comfy modern room and bathroom with kettle, coffee machine, water, snacks, TV etc. Self check in was very easy

The internet was my only issue with the property as my mobile network had no signal in the area so i was reliant on the wifi which wasn’t a strong connection. I travelled with my 2 year old and she couldn’t watch her cartoons. Small inconvenience though

The property was exceptionally clean, and the bedding and towels smelled devine. Good sized room and nice modern bathroom. Small sized fridge in the room and coffee machine and kettle were perfect.
