Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe Coach House was fantastic, we go away for weekends quite a lot and the Coach House is one of the best that we have stayed in. The furnishings are amazing, the house is very comfortable and the hosts are extremely thoughtful, everything you could possibly need has been provided, they even left a welcome hamper for us and treats for the dog. Added bonus of being in a great location, very near the beach and town, and has its own parking space. Would highly recommend 👍👍👍

It was an absolute joy to spend four nights in this lovely house. Eduardo is a charming host and not only greeted us with a delicious welcome pack, but also left an anniversary card and present. The house is immaculate, comfortable and tastefully decorated throughout. It is ideally located, finished to a very high standard and Eduardo provides everything you could possibly think of to make your holiday enjoyable; even providing beach shoes for the nearby stony beach. The cosy external patio is delightful and there is off street parking. I cannot recommend The Coach House highly enough and Eduardo should be justifiably proud of the accommodation and service he provides.

Quite possibly tie best holiday home we’ve ever stayed in in the UK. A lovely house, spotlessly clean, full of wonderful touches and a real home from home. Everything we needed for the perfect week in Whitstable. Eduardo sets the highest bar ever for a host. Greeted us on arrival and had left a wonderful welcome pack of goodies and Easter treats for us. 10mins walk to Whitstable Harbour, 15mins to the Station so perfectly placed for everything the area has to offer. We’ll be back for sure!

The property is in a nice quiet location near the sea front with good parking. All round 10/10! If we are in the area again we will return

The host thought about really everything, from beach supply’s to a comfortable bed for our dog, there were even gifts for our kids and one for our dog, such a kind gesture.
