My only criticism would be the door leading from the bar to the toilet got very clustered with people

All in all everything was very good, staff were friendly, room was clean and tidy and the food was excellent.

We stayed on a Fri and Sat and being on top of a bar is was very noisy each night till 12 then to about 1400. The windows are very thin so you can hear everything that go’s on outside the room on the streets. Sat night was worse as we had to leave early Sun morning and they had a very loud band playing to 12am and we didn’t get much sleep and felt tried while driving. - i suppose that’s what you get when you stay above a bar.

The room was very cosy and had grate modern bathroom facilities. The room also had SKY tv and a nice coffee maker.

We stayed on a Friday night in a room above the bar, which was a little noisy when people stood outside chatting. But this is to be expected and didn’t ruin our sleep.

It’s was clean, tidy and easy to access. The rooms had good facilities including Sky TV and a coffee machine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy.

Location great, breakfast was adequate, when you could get one, but there are staffing issues in the area in general and they are doing the best they can. Lockdown must've hit them hard. Will use again in the future.

Didn’t know if breakfast was included or not ? When we checked out we saw a buffet style breakfast set out but wasn’t told about that before ? We’d already made plans.But it’s not a complaint as everything else about the stay was brilliant

The main road can be a little noisy.

We had the food in the pub and it was good, homecooked lasagne which was to die for! The beds are really comfy but the doors to the room do slam occasionally so it can be quite loud if you have neighbours coming back late on, the size of the room is quite big with TV with sky on which was a bonus! Overall a decent stay for one night

We didn’t have breakfast… waited until 8.30 then had a coffee across the road and still no sign of anyone… probably should have asked what time it was! Nevertheless it wasn’t a problem and would stay again!

The noise from the bar was too much. what you’d expect from a pub but not till the early hours . Saturday 1.45 am

The room was clean and fairly up to date. Bathroom was large and warm. if you’re eating in the property the food was great and the bar very lively.

Our room was overlooking the beer garden and was very noisy in the evening. There is parking at this facility however if you go out you are not guaranteed a parking space when you return, which happened to us and we had to drive around to find alternative parking! I believe parking should be reserved for guest staying at the facility.

The room was very clean and well presented, Sky television was also available.

The location was perfect for the 5 days we stayed here. We parked up on the Monday & only had to take the car out once. The Cornubia is a 15 minute walk to the train station & only about a 20 minute walk to the beach. Perfect! Having a room above a pub was perfect for us to come back to after a day out & about. We had steak there on the Friday night & it was really good & so very reasonable. Damien & the staff, especially Lauren & Denika were very friendly & very helpful. There was also live music on the Friday night which was another bonus. Would stay again next time

Car park confusion.

Perfect location, bit of confusion regarding the car park, but the landlord was very gracious about it. Nice room with a great shower. We were at the back of the hotel part so very quiet, and good value for money.

Breakfast not included in the price Lack of ‘How to’ guide in room. Eg: new fangled coffee machine that didn’t work first few attempts! 🤣where’s the kettle I thought! However once worked it was spot on & preferred! Much better coffee 😁 Lack of vegetarian options on menu for dinner.

Room size for the price we've paid. A bit cleaner in the room and the bathroom. Double glazed windows would make it much better cause it was very noisy outside and we were struggling to get a good night sleep. much comfier mattress. better choice of coffee type instead of just two. Information on arrival to better book a table in certain hours to be guaranteed an evening meal in the pub downstairs.

Double bed not 2 singles and big bathroom. Fan in the room was good but a bit to loud. Coffee machine in the room, if needed.
