How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very busy road to get to it and if you can’t walk there it’s expensive for a taxi to or from airport

Only one thing - There wasn’t anything to say where the milk and spoons were kept for the tea and coffee. We presumed downstairs. Maybe a welcome notice in the bedroom would help clarify that.
Beds where very comfortable Couldn’t fault the cleanliness and the detail that went into the bathroom - complimentary produces to use, a huge selection.

VERY NOISY Neighbours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From the time I arrived until 3am they did not stop talking in very loud voices, even once being politley asked to keep the noise down (I had a VERY early flight) they just ignored it and carried on. A note should be left for every guest to adhere to the peace and quietness of other guests.

Such a lovely place let down slightly by some noisy plumbing. The radiators probably just need bleeding.
Friendly driver staff. Fantastic location for the airport. The parking facility/delivery of the car to the airport when you return was outstanding.

The walk to the airport is on quite a busy road, room was too small to permit a bedside table on one side of the double bed.

There were 6 of us, but only 4 chairs, so perhaps a small sofa could be added?
A very convenient walk from the airport. Transfers also provided for an early morning check in which was appreciated.

Room quite noisy from road traffic, no good for a light sleeper. If staying again would request a back room not on the front.
Very close to Bristol airport and only a short journey in car next morning. Help yourself to breakfast.

It’s not an easy walk to the airport especially with a suitcase- more like 20 min walk and some of the street has no lighting and no pavement, it was fine cause I was with my partner but I would think twice if I was by myself
Really clean and comfortable bed, smelled fresh and the furniture was modern

Should have been advised before my arrival at 11pm that I would have to let myself in and find my own bedroom. I was on crutches and no lighting on steps to front door. No milk in room for tea/coffee. Cleaning people very noisy in morning and creeking floorboard's at door as they listened at my bedroom to see if I was up at 8.30am

The noisy radiator and shower albeit warm the pressure wasn’t great.
Great location right by the airport. Fuss free stay. Clean room and comfy bed. And toast and cereal available 24-7.

Basic accommodation but can't expect any more for the price
Location spot on, we walked to the airport, got the guys to bring our car to pick us up on the way back, they arrived super quick.

Be very careful if you decide to walk to the hotel from the airport as it is located on a busy road, most of which does not have a pavement. Make sure you are clearly visible to all passing vehicles!
Firstly, the location is very convenient, a mere stone's throw away from Bristol Airport: perfect for late arrivals or early morning departures. The bed was comfortable with an en-suite bathroom. There was also a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. I was grateful that the host allowed me to check in so late (12.30am - later than expected due to a delayed flight).

Stairs a little narrow if you had big suitcases.
Great location for Bristol airport, a 10 minute walk. Parking is excellent value for money, the room was very comfortable with serve yourself breakfast provided downstairs. Kettle in the room and good shower. Car is picked up at the drop off part of the airport when you land.
