The location was wonderful. Right in the heart of Bewdley. It was very clean and comfortable.

United KingdomThe room was shabby and needed decorating , but most importantly, I left an extremely expensive cleanser in the shower . I called the next day and was told they throw things away immediately. The manager was not interested and not at all helpful .They could at least keep things for 48 hrs , but no, they have no respect for people's belongings. It does happen, I've worked in the industry myself, and its disgusting that they thow things away so quickly ( or do they ?)... wouldn't return again !

United KingdomThe main bay window had a large crack right the way across it which was dangerous. Although the bed was very comfortable, the bedhead is not attached to the bed and kept hitting against the wall if you sat against it. There was a winter duvet on the bed, during our stay in July and made the night's sleep too hot. We did not avail of the breakfast as it was not clear unless you pre-booked, how you could access breakfast as the venue catering facilities are closed first thing in the morning. I don't think the kettle had been cleaned in a while as the hot water had a very metallic taste to it. The main issue was the ensuite bathroom. There was a stale damp/plumbing smell which spoilt the feel of the room as soon as you walked in. The toilet had a seat but no lid (this is a simple thing to replace). We stayed for 5 nights and on day 3 enquired if the room could be given a refresh. We were told no, and that this was only done at the end after we checked out. This is understandable for a weekend stay, but stays of 4 nights or more should ideally have a touch up of the room in between. For example, there is only a couple of mugs in the room, and with no dish washing facilities, if you don't catch the cleaning crew or cafe staff downstairs before you leave for the day, you don't have clean mugs for another tea or coffee. We were on the 4th day offered fresh towels and a top up (only because we happened to be in the room when the cleaning staff came round). On weekends, the area around can become noisy as there are a lot of pubs and restaurants beside the river. I think this dies down around 1am. So bear this in mind, if you're looking for a quite night's sleep. Parking is in a paid car park - which if you park during the day can rack up costs quickly, but overnight charges are not an issue. Would be wise to plan your parking accordingly.
The room had a beautiful view with a beautiful bay window seat overlooking the river Severn. The bed & mattress were very comfortable. There was plenty of tea and coffee with a kettle left in the room. There was also plenty of shower gel and shampoo left in the room. It had decent wardrobe space with hangers. The room overall was also a good size with the entrance being slightly tucked away such that the door doesn't open directly over the bed. The room actually has great potential, but the maintenance lets it down.

United Kingdom2nd night shower was stone cold and the same the following morning. £7 breakfast on the web site, charged £18.95 for 2. Staircase up to room was steep and narrow and pitch dark until the top when the light sensor came on, very dangerous.

United KingdomThe rooms need a coat of paint, and a good going over! We stayed Friday and Saturday night, found it hard to sleep until the music, shouting singing ect stopped from the Bar next door around 1 am. Take some ear plugs with you.....
We got one of the rooms facing the river, which had a lovely view! Bed was comfy.

United KingdomWe didn’t get to actually stay there as the property was shut when we arrived at 18.00 hours. We were unable to gain access and check in which was supposed to be between 15.00 and 20.00 hours and unable to contact the owners/ manager. We had to find alternative accommodation for the night and when making a face to face visit there the following day to complain, were met by an unsympathetic manager who could say nothing else but “ all I can do is apologise. “ There was no offer of compensating us at all, not even for the nearby car park that we had to pay for then not use as we had to stay elsewhere. The whole experience was a total shambles and I would never return there again and would not recommend the place to anyone.
