Although it was cute the sink in the bathroom wasn’t very practical. No microwave.

The location was perfect, close to the motorway but in a lovely rural setting. The secure garden was great for the dog.

Would be nice if you could check in earlier. The road just adjacent to the property was very busy and noisy.

Lovely, extremely comfortable and clean cottage. Our dogs loved the secure garden. Everything that we needed and more was provided, really appreciated the extra details. Next time we will stay longer. Owner very helpful with directions and overall communication.

The road running by the property was a little noisy but was ok when you were inside. Although the property is dog friendly the fencing in the garden was low in some areas and might be easily jumped by some dogs.

It was comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated :) and had everything needed for a short stay. The biscuits and milk as well as tea and coffee were also appreciated. The directions to the property were easy to understand and it was easily located. The location was a short from where we needed to be too.

Nothing that I disliked but would be great if the place had a fan/aircon for the warmer months as that is the only thing that would put me off staying . Also a full length mirror in the double room would be handy to save me going into the twin room to use that one.

Easy to check yourself in. Clean. Quirky shower room. Very comfy double bed. Great spacious enclosed garden area for dogs. Handy private car space with gate. Great location for access to the M6 North takes about 5 mins.

Only minor comment is that the chicken wire fence sections could do with being the same height as the rest of the fence for a more enhanced enclosure for larger dogs.

What an amazing little place. We loved the decor and the extra little details such as the love hearts by the bed and the board games in the cupboard. The cottage had absolutely everything you would need and the secure garden was great for our dog to run around and would be good for bbqs and stargazing in warmer weather. The bed was comfy and we had a nice peaceful night which was just what we needed. We'd definitely recommend the cottage to friends and hope to be back soon.

The property is difficult to find if you aren't familiar with the area! The property is quite set back from the main gate and is adjacent to a private property gate- which can be confusing!

We loved our stay at the Cowshed! The property is lovely, clean, cosy and very comfortable! We had complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate (with marshmallows and biscuits!) We had plenty of board games to play, the signal/Wi-Fi was fantastic given the location, and we had the best nights sleep. Definitely recommend!

The drop at the end of the garden as we have silly dogs who during play were so carried away they didn't realise and fell off! Fortunately no broken bones but has the potential to cause an injury.

A fantastic cottage style accommodation in a nice location. It was nice to have a decent sized, enclosed garden for the dog. Some nice touches included a coffee pod machine, tea, coffee & milk as well as a Chromecast connected to the tv which allows watching Netflix etc. Plenty of board games & even a selection of vinyl LPs (remember them?) to play on the provided record player. All communication with Rosie was answered swiftly. I would definitely recommend it to anybody.

Wow! The best Cowshed I have ever stayed in. Excellent value for money with so many great little touches to make a stay really comfortable. Coffee pods, dishwasher tablets, hand & body wash, tea bags & fresh milk. It was a perfect stop off on our way to the South from our travels in Scotland. Would certainly recommend and we will be back.

Location was great, nice and quiet and perfect for the dogs which we had to bring with us (this was a key requirement for this this trip and my primary reason for booking ). The property itself was spacious and very clean and perfect for our family. The owner also helped us to plan nice walks which helped immeasurably since we were travelling with young children. Would recommend this to others.

A very minor complaint, but as we were arriving and leaving again at night some more lighting between where you park and the front door would have been really helpful

The road is a tiny bit noisy at times, though the bedrooms are away from it.

A really nice feel to the whole place. Both bedrooms are super comfortable and thoughtfully designed and the open plan main room is light and feels surprisingly spacious. All done to a high spec.

We had a problem with the hob but that could easily have just been our user error!

The Cowshed is just gorgeous. Really quirky building, designed and kitted out spectacularly. We loved it.
