The bed mattress was uncomfortable and the room was incredibly hot. (There was a locked cupboard in the room that housed the boiler for the accommodation block that our room was in. It was belching out heat.) The manager provided us with a small AC unit which helped to cool the room down. The room also needs blackout curtains. The wooden window blinds let (a lot of) daylight in from around 4am onwards. Finally the outside steps to the accommodation which led to our room and one other room were littered with cigarette ends from previous occupants. The steps didn't appear to have been swept recently.

The room was spacious and the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked well and the produce was delicious and of good quality. We ate dinner at the Inn also. The food was good but a little pricey for what it was.

It was a very hot weekend and the room was quite stuffy. Breakfast was well cooked and produce of high quality, but service was not great. Only one person serving ( he worked hard ) and no buffet element - all items inc. juice, cereal and marmalade had to be ordered separately from him. This was the most expensive hotel we have ever booked ( we book frequently through Booking.com ), yet in no way was it an upgrade on places 30% cheaper. Possibly due to location.

there are only about 5 car parking spaces but there is ample stree parking outside

we were late arriving but it was not a problem. the manager was friendly and it was not trouble for him. the room was of a good standard and was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good and the table service was prompt.

The price of drinks was high. This bumped the meal cost. There are several other pubs in the vicinity and drinks aren’t as much as here.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Nice shower. Evening meal was very good. Cromer crab and superb pork chops. Butterscotch bread and butter pudding for dessert. Breakfast was pleasant. Not large but when you consider the base b&b price it was good. Friendly staff and efficient. For the price we paid for room, very good value indeed. Will use again if in the area.
