We knew it would be small, and it was. But it had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable. We love the quiet. Friendly host on a farm at the edge of Exmoor.

Very comfortable stay and as others have said our host Jude was wonderful. We cooked outdoors on a stove and disposable BBQ on the campsite grounds. These have a open air sink facility for pot washing and the best toilet in a shed ever! Animals were a wonderful background. Loved it

Difficult to find even with instructions as narrow roads mostly unnamed and no mobile coverage while driving but did eventually find our way.

Peaceful location. Stayed in small unit with shared facilities, totally adequate with hotel type extras in unit. Spacious and well equipped common room/kitchen with fridge and freezer. Good camping facilities as well with fire pit.

The space in the Dainty Den was limited. It is very suitable for short breaks where you do not have much luggage or equipment.

The Dainty Den was compact .The bed was very comfortable. It had a toilet and shower room attached which other campers could also use . We were not disturbed by people using the facilities.This area was very clean. There was a separate kitchen come shower block with a fridge, freezer and microwave again a communal space. This area had arm chairs and a small table. Again very clean. The host was very helpful.

Absolutely everything! Host is warm and welcoming and gives plenty of ideas to do/go and has maps to show you. Cabin was cosy and has just what you need ... the land with the animals and fire pit was peaceful and tranquil exactly what we wanted so we will be back! Thanks Judy

Silence, peace, away from any "civilization" and very nice service. Next time, I will definitely come back to the same place.I recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the whole of Exmoor because it is a very good base.

The accommodation is on a little farm with lots of sheep and lambs, a horse, a Shetland pony, two donkeys and a big pig called Sam. We thoroughly enjoyed it and having the animals so close by on the campsite is a lovely touch. The surrounding fields had many lambs and cows a little ride up. We will definitely recommend the dainty den to our friends and family. The host Judy made us feel so welcome and felt like a home away from home. We will be back very soon! :)

We had a wonderful weekend at the Dainty Den. The Den is all made of wood. It is a bit small but it is so warm and cosy. Everything is super clean. The bed is super cosy. You are in the middle of the countryside, the nights are so calm and you can see so many stars. Judy was a wonderful host. Communication with her was fast and informative. She gave us a warm welcome and have us great advice on what to do in Exmoor. Thank you for making our stay special.

I cant say there were anything we didn't like, gutted we couldn't have stayed longer if I'm honest 😁

It was such a lovely place, quiet, peaceful, lovely to see a working farm, well looked after place, nothing was ever too much, any questions we wanted to ask, was answered, definitely highly recommended, the price is more than worth it, I'd have been happy to even pay more for our stay 😁 the place is in the middle of the country side, but less than an hour to the popular tourist areas
