Although a Superior room was booked the shower room was tiny and didn't have a window. The choice at breakfast was limited. The property was at the top of a very steep hill, which wasn't mentioned in the description.

We booked a superior room, and it didnt disappoint, the view was excellant. It was spotlessly clean. Ample parking.

The hill was a bit steep on the way back, but you can always take the bus (outside of the embankment Bisto, every half hour at '30 and '00 in the evening, I think something like '12 and '42 past the hour during the day, but check the bus timetable), but you get impressive views for being on the hill. There is a wide choice for breakfast, only possible bit missing is baked beans, but you can have scrambled eggs and salmon / bacon, fruit, toast and jam, a fried breakfast, so no beans is hardly a hardship.

Great hosts and a lovely, large, room. Everything was immaculate. Great view over the valley, there is a bus stop right at the bottom of the hill (for dropping off on the way out from town if you don't fancy the hill), and I think another stop by the church at the top of the road. Wide selection for breakfast (we did the full English first day, then the scrambled eggs and salmon the next). In the summer you can also sit out on the patio for a while to enjoy the sun (in the late morning and 3-6 in the afternoon).

The location is stunning a lovely walk down to the town but as long as the local bus is running on the half hour the accom is fine - although it’s a good uphill walk if it isn’t

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Everything was perfect. A very high standard, from the fabulous breakfast with spectacular views overlooking Dartmouth, to the immaculately kept accomdation. I honestly couldn’t fault a thing. We’ve visited Dartmouth previously but never actually stayed in the resort, but so glad we did. Lots of great restaurants and lovely walks. We will definately return.

It’s set on a hill so the payoff for the views is the hike back up the hill from town! Not a dislike but be prepared to use bus or taxi to get back up unless you’re super fit!

I had a lovely 3-night stay here. Neil was really welcoming and friendly. My room was absolutely immaculate and had a super comfy bed and a beautiful view over the hills. The B&B is in a quiet location but it only took me 12 minutes or so to walk into the town. There's a regular bus service back up the hill, which l found very handy!
