Only one bath towel so had to ask for another. Bedside lamp not working and desk lamp needed fixing. Under bed needed good hoover.

Comfortable and spacious room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 10/10. Best ever. Would definitely stay again. Pool was lovely but sadly closing next week.

We couldn't sleep very well because of constant buzzing / humming sound all the stay. Water at swimming pool was cloudy and one of two steam room was switched off.

Room was comfy, clean and nice designed. Breakfast fresh and large selection of continental and hot dishes. Very kind and helpful staff and convenient location.

Decor is looking rather old and worn could do with a tidy up, only one tiny uht milk per person meaning could only have one drink (personally I would use two for one drink)

Room was reasonable clean and usable, suitated easy to find place, restaurant was lovely and food was great.

The options for vegan/vegetarian meals were slim and the VFC burger I had wasn't particularly nice, but we did eat out mostly so it wasn't a huge issue

The room we stayed in was lovely, really comfy and we couldn't hear any noise from the motorway or A38. Staff were really friendly and polite, and there was ample parking.

The only poor thing was the children splashing and causing mayhem in the swimming pool especially as the pool is a big factor when booking hotels.

The WATER PRESSURE in room 144 was very poor and the SHOWER poor. The TV channels for BBC 1&2 was very hit and miss. It kept on buffering. There could be a bit more of a verity for the Evening Menu. I am not sure if you are aware but there seemed to be a loose pool tile and the shower areas not very tidy.

Overall our stay was very good. The location was as I planned. The food was very good. The Breakfast menu was perfect. The service excellent. The room was a good size and had everything you needed for a weekend away. Plenty of hot water when required.

Loved the spa & leisure facilities, it was very relaxing and we enjoyed using the hotel’s facilities. Access to the local pubs & shopping centre was very useful. Room was clean and tidy and the staff were very accommodating.

Good location, close to the outlet (I ate there for dinner) and road network. Even though I slept with the window open I couldn’t hear the traffic. Large free car park. Only hotel in the area to have pool and gym facilities and good opening hours of 6am - 9pm, slightly dated and steam room out of action, but didn’t detract at all from my stay.

Breakfast very large and no choice for smaller. Bar prices were expensive. More thought given to elderly and disabled in rooms. Tea, coffee and milk supplies could be a little more generous. Be informed if rooms have a fridge.

Choices of places to eat at the bar or in dining room. Also food can be ordered and eaten in your room. Bed was comfortable but a bit high for short people. Most staff were very pleasant. Able to assure ground floor room as there are no lifts and unable to do the stairs.

Our room wasn’t cleaned during our stay. Our bin was emptied and bed roughly made. Our booking said our room had a fridge and a bottle of water. Neither of these were there. I asked at reception and they said they didn’t have enough fridges. Could not answer about the water

The bath was small and the curtain in the bedroom was just slightly small for the window so some light got in.

The staff were all polite and friendly. The pool was warm and was never over packed with people. Breakfast was great. Would definitely go again.

Huge car park and only 3 disabled spaces, there is plenty of room for more. Breakfast is overpriced and no choice if you want pay it. Our tea and coffee was served luke warm.

The tv wouldn't work - two members of staff were needed to get it going. The bar was having the Pipes cleaned for draught beer at 4.30 pm - this should have been done in the morning.

Food in the restaurant was mass produced and expensive for the quality of it. The waitress service was erratic and inexperienced. I was asked if I would like a spoon with my my dessert! It was a waffle and ice cream with sauce.

Efficient and caring staff. Receptionist, Roy, saw my mother’s disability and made certain that we had a room close to reception which was on the same floor and had a walk in shower. He could not have been more helpful.
