The staff and facilities were great. Breakfast was excellent fresh, wide verity and very comfortable area. Our room was serviced each day with fresh towels. Great location in the town just a few steps to the promenade, opera house and shops.

I'm spritely, but if you have mobility issues there are a lot of steep stairs to negotiate to reach the rooms. There is no lounge area so when waiting to meet the others in my party to go out we had to gather in the small hallway - not really a big issue.

Very lovely friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. My room was a single and very comfortable and plenty big enough with ensuite. Location is good just behind the theatre and opera house, a short walk from the sea front.

If you aren't too good on your feet just try to get a room not too high up.

Gorgeous hotel. Very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Great communication before hand. Looking forward to booking to stay again.

Just got back from our stay at the Devonian and would highly recommend! Amazing hosts Gillian and Kevin, very friendly and recommended places to visit during our stay. Breakfast was fantastic with so much choice. Rooms were immaculate. Great location walking distance from ferry terminal.

There was no sitting room./bar area to relax in , you had to go to your room and there was nowhere to sit and socialise

Couldn't have faulted the facilities or hospitality given by the host. Was in a rush, host gave a bag of water, napkins & a sausage cob to make sure i didn't go hungry!

Steps made for difficult access particularly as I had damaged the tendons in my right leg shortly before visit. On phoning the Devonian to advise of my predicament they were able to give me a room on the first floor.

An outstanding B&B, based in the heart of Douglas. Immaculately clean room, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Brilliant quality all around- from the toiletries, to the towels to the breakfast ingredients, there's nothing even remotely poor about the Devonian. I slept very well and ate very well too! Nothing is too much trouble and you'll find a very warm welcome. I really, really, enjoyed my stay and have no hesitation in recommending this B&B. I hope to return again next year. Thanks for having me!

Parking hit and miss but we only really struggled on the last day .It may just be me but we stayed in room 4 and I felt as if I was on a tilt all week . Breakfast all done by 9.15 would have maybe liked a bit later so I didn't have to get up so early while on holiday .

Lovely breakfasts !! I had asked ahead of time for a room on a lower level due to my husband being disabled and this was accommadated!! Very central location.Fridge in the room was a lovely touch as we were there for the week. Staff all lovely 😍

The front room we had suffered slightly from traffic noise and a few late night revellers, but nothing too serious.

The Breakfast was great with a comprehensive selection and the staff very pleasant and helpful.

Can’t really suggest anything as we were pleased with everything.

Room excellent, breakfast even better. Nothing too much trouble for staff who were all delightful, very helpful and hardworking, keeping up Gillian’s high standards throughout our stay. This seemed to rub off on other visitors who all seemed to have a happy demeanour.
